Excellent value for money – Bought a calais v tourer with 7 year warranty and 7 year free road service , after 2 years and 44.000kms the wagon has been great , services are capped and still on orginal tyres. Having the top of the range model helps with my opinion somewhat , if you can afford it dont go for the base model ( your missing out big time ) , the kids love the huge panoramic sunroof and the leather massage heated and cooling seats are a bonus, the only issue has been that the rain sensor dosent work but thats fairly in significant. Also the growl from the v6 on startup is a nice touch.....

Fantastic family car, great price, economy size and power – ZB wagon RS. Had the car now for about 6mths. Spent $27k with 5,000km. Fantastic car, very happy with it. Sturdy, very quick, cheap to run, tonnes of room, especially in boot. I fit three bike racks on roof (really sturdy roof-rails) which makes it even more versatile. It's relatively basic in a time when all cars beep and try to drive themselves. Oh. I turn off lane control and auto stop! I get it serviced at my own mechanic, far more reliable. Only cons; -Underpowered headlights (I'm gonna replace!) -No factory towbar -duco scratches easily and dash material hard to dust (I'm talking really minor)

Great Car Crap service – Took my car for under warranty repairs and service at Paul Wakeling Holden in Campbelltown. They had the car all day when they rang me to tell me it needs new engine and wont be able to do it for another 3 weeks. To my surprise when I went to pick it up, they charged $400 for a service and would not give me the car back unless I paid. Why would any mechanic complete a service on an engine when it needs to be replaced. As I said, the car is amazing (minus the engine replacement) but the service from the Holden Dealer is just disgusting, even the attitude whilst talking to the staff was 0/10.

Fantastic All Rounder – We bought our Commodore after trading our 7 seater Ford Territory. It has fulfilled everything that we require of a wagon. Its roomy for our now adult children, comfortable, quiet and really economically while capable of pulling like a train. Air conditioner does make more noise than it should, more noticeable because the rest of the car is so quiet. It handles decisively and crisply while over-taking quickly and readily, it never hesitates and always finds the right gear smoothly. The various safety aides are a bonus. When cruising on the highway it can record fuel consumption around 6.6-6.9l/100klm. Excellent return. Our car has a towbar and it has towed a trailer load of garden rocks without a problem. As the towbar was dealer fitted, when in use it cancels the auto tailgate and parking sensors, good thinking. The rear camera made it easy to hitch the trailer and back. Inside it's very comfortable for everyone, good infotainment system though has taken time to get used to the different layers and buttons. Plenty of storage for bits and pieces and the wagon space is excellent. Its a pleasure to own and should be a good second hand buy.

The car isn't really that bad, Holden's warranty and after sales service is 1 star – So I (foolishly) bought a ZB RS wagon, and had a Holden genuine towbar fitted by the dealer. Now the park assist doesn't work and my local dealer who is 40 minutes closer than the dealer I bought it from won't fix it. Sure they tried a few simple things but now they are saying they need to remove the rear bumper and it won't be covered by warranty!!! Freaking unbelievable!! I am the first private owner of this car (it is a dealer demo) and it has 4 years warranty left. The original dealer is happy to have a look but they are over an hours drive away and I will need to get a hire car whilst they try to fix it. Do not buy a holden, worst most useless warranty ever. I even had 2 different people from Holden give me 2 different stories, one even suggested had I had the towbar fitted interstate that I would have to return to that dealer, absolutely ludicrous. Now I have to return to the dealer that sold me the car and fitted the towbar, as this is not a quick fix I will probably have to hire a car, so don't be fooled into thinking a warranty means no out of pocketr expenses, it doesn't. UPDATE : IT GETS WORSE I urge everybody to think twice before buying a Holden as it would appear that the "we will continue to support our product" is complete and utter crap. I won't get into the fact I believe the ZB commodore is at best, an average car, however I would like to point out that they are clearly not stocking a great deal of parts. My crash repairer told me yesterday that a front door (YES, A FRONT DOOR FOR A 2018 COMMODORE) was not available in Australia, and he was told 10 to 12 weeks for a door to come from Germany. Fortunately he found a good secondhand door here in WA but we still have to wait 2 weeks for the rest of the parts. So think twice before buying an imported holden, that warranty is less valuable than toilet paper if they have no parts

Purchased in at Holden Dealers for $26,500.
