This is the first one I got. Out of the box it has an issue. See attached video. I'll do a complete review when I get it exchanged. Show details

Dodgy reliability out of the box – Bought one as I have seen in action and liked it. Immediately had issues with the adjustable spray setting working correctly, kept getting stuck. Came good for a day without any changes, but on third day just clicks and stuck stationary regardless of adjustment. Reminded myself once again to not buy Holman products, always a disappointment for years. Get something else. Show details

Wanted a all round sprinkler – I love this lawn sprinkler for its versatile 360-degree spine rotation and adjustable spray settings. It covers a large area with precision, making it easy to water different parts of my lawn without overwatering. The adjustable spray settings allow me to customise the coverage, from a fine mist to a strong jet. It’s durable, easy to set up, and a fantastic addition for keeping my lawn green and healthy. Show details

Holman Turbine Powered Gear Drive Sprinkler – Took a bit to figure out the workings, but once I did it works very good. I do really like the fact that it is slow moving and not like the other machine gun ones :-). Only problem was the so called weighted base, kept flipping over until I put a brick on it to hold it steady. Might even purchase another one as long as it keeps working good, unlike the timers which are constantly failing and leaking Show details

Don't waste your money – Absolute junk. Purchased and returned after the first (attempt at) use. The water pressure kept turning the sprinkler over on its side. Clearly the "heavy duty base" isn't heavy enough to keep the sprinkler stable during use. Turning the water pressure down only made the sprinkler sit in one spot and not rotate at all. Once I had the settings… Read more

right and secured the sprinkler to the ground with a tent peg, it stopped turning again after just a few minutes and the "turbine powered gear drive" fell apart. Do yourself a favour and leave this one on the shelf.

Doesn’t work and no instructions – I purchased it and wasted my money , spray patterns work but not the adjustable spray pattern Also no instructions included. Also the included hose connection just blows off the tap if you turn the sprinkler off Show details

Seems to work well – Haven’t given it full test yet and took some time to understand how spray pattern worked but works well for what I need. Going to but another one now for the front Show details

Continually falls over ☹️ – The sprinkler itself is ok, but the base is too light, causing it to fall over. Shouldn't have to use a brick to weigh it down. Another 2 sprinklers to take up room in the shed. Show details

Works well for me but took some practice – It took a bit of practice to understand the adjustable spray operation and 360deg circle switch. Works well with different flow rates and I like the spray patterns. Sometimes need to add weight to the base to keep stable. Show details

Holman gear drive sprinkler – I must add that I only bought this today, so I have not used it. So I have given it a tentative 3 stars and I must reserve judgement on its performance. It's raining in fact, so no need for it at the moment. I was attracted to the features of this sprinkler - variable spray patterns, adjustable coverage from 0 to 360 degrees. Price at $21 at Bunnings was a determining factor. Plenty cheaper, plenty were 2 or 3 times the price. Show details

Not enough weight in the base – There is not enough weight in the base to stop it moving around when you set it for half a circle and it falls over so you have to weight it down  Show details

Good for 360 watering only – If you want a 360 sprinkler great. Otherwise the lugs don’t work, it either goes straight past them, the internal body just keeps going, or hits a mysterious non existent lug and turns back. Show details

It kinda works – It is sprinkler right, so you plug it in and water comes out. Yes, so far so good. The instructions are very lacking. One can change the spray beam, and one is meant to be able to set it at either rotate 360 degrees or set the spray spread. Except it is hard to work out how to do that. What is the front of the sprinkler where one expects the… Read more

water to come from, no idea - nor does the instructions. One might expect the spray angle would be determined by setting the orange lugs, no luck there either, the water beams goes right on past. Holman, please spend your time thinking about what the customer who has never worked with your products might like to know. Your instructions are rubbish and need rewriting. Your sprinkler may do what you claim it can do, but this customer has no idea as to whether that is the case.
