HP Deskjet 3720 Questions & Answers
VerifiedMPN: ING-3348081Can I scan a document with this printer
Worst printer i have ever owned, wifi drops out all the time if you can get it to print it will only do part of what you want then stops then wifi drops out. No help from HP they just direct you to a company that want's to charge you, i bought this printer new November 2020 and i would not recommend this printer to anybody
Check your router wifi strength to make sure it's not that that's dropping. Mine goes to sleep if not used for some time , so I just wake it up. If not sure, use a cable connection to Computer and re configure printer direct. I reckon that will fix it.
Apple pad is no longer printing to HP Deskjet 3720. Could it be because NBN has now been installed at retirement village? (This is for my 75 year old mother)
The Printer needs to be discovered on the new network and the new password entered. It prints instructions which took me ages to understand as well.
Can you explain how you went about it please?
We have purchased This printer, it has connected easy enough it's the printing quality that is the issue, example - a picture of 3 people together, one person's face would be blurred with the other two a mix of orange and red even black. Brand new printer and the ink we have is what was recommended.
Hi Mwanda, A few tips here may assist: - check ink levels as low levels of black and/or color will give you poor results - open 'Printers & scanners' and select under 'HP Deskjet 3700' - Open printer app and select 'Printer Settings'. ---Then under Settings, select 'Advanced Settings'. ---One of the options is the 'Print Quality Toolbox' - try each of the four options
The printer was easy to setup but when printing the ink door opens rather than the paper going through the paper tray. Can anyone help?
what ink cartridge does it use
Anyone else have an issue with the connection to wifi?
It would not allow it to connect to the homes NBN and I had to switch on my phones wifi to connect it to that and now every time I want to print I have to use the phones hotspot.
I had same problem and went into Officeworks and a young man explained. First go into wifi and turn on. Make sure blue light flashing on printer. Open the HP app and select item to print and see if the HP is there. If not go back to wifi and enter 12345678 as password. As long as you have the app it should pair with your phone wirelessly. Good luck!
Thank you so much for your help! I haven’t used the printer since posting this and had it in the spare room, I’ll hook it up again tomorrow and give it another try!
