Works like a charm! – I've had my hp for about four years and am still yet to have a problem! Recently updated the system to Windows 7. Works faster than ever before with such ease. I found the remote that came with it fantastic for presentations. Great compact size to use for uni & school. Would recommend to anyone.
Excellent – My dv2632tx is great! I managed to get it bundled with a wireless router and a printer for $1267 from JB-Hifi, then with $100 HP cashback it totalled $1167 - EXCELLENT value for money!! A 1.5Ghz core 2 duo processor, 1 GB ram, 160GB hard drive... this notebook is perfect for me as a school student, or would be great for general home use.… Read more
Definitely recomended! HP (trusted brand). Excellent features and high performance core 2 duo processor for a very affordable price. 14.1" screen is the perfect balance between portability and viewing area... good sound quality for a notebook (great clarity and depth from the altec lansing speakers, but bass is hardly heard)... excellent laptop touchpad can get annoying, and the scroll up/down function the side of the touchpad is very fiddly for my fingers... A little more speed is always desireable!
I wouldn't recommend to buy – I bought my HP laptop to replace my old trusty but out-dated NEC. I've owned my hp laptop for 3 years now and its been in for repairs 3 times. It has always ran very hot - i live in a humid part of Australia which makes it worse. i've had a cooling fan replaced, motherboard replaced and now it's performance has dropped again... its a very nice… Read more
design, compact notebook but i will not be purchasing hp again because this experience.
the customer service line for hp is definitely not user friendly and when you speak to someone and explain your problem they palm you off to another... i wasted a whole morning on the phone to them and once i got through to the right area my problem was fixed in about an hour - my wireless drive had to be repaired...
i do however need to mention that all repairs no matter under warranty or not hp have covered all costs. very much appreciated :) Good PC for casual use, as it runs hot not for long periods of work or play. HP customer service line bad but a good company which have covered all repair costs Runs hot and i recommend to back up often incase your motherboard goes like mine
Good – This laptop replaces our old desk top pc because of our mobile lifestyle. I have linked it with the canon pixma mp510 and they work very well together, particularly for photos. It works well in our caravan and I like the way it finds any local wireless netowrks, notthat you can connect wothout permission of course. portability, compactness, quick to fire up, style nothing in particular
