My hydragun heatpod stopped working properly 6 weeks after the warranty ran out... it now only heats under me and not on top. I only used it once per week and stored, cleaned and dried it properly. I contacted the company and was offered 20% discount on a new one or they would sell me a new controller for $50. But internet research indicated it to most likely an internal wiring problem. The red flags for me are 1. I think they should have at the least offered me a refund on the controller if it was determined not to be the problem. 2. I made a favorable review on their website at time of purchase, I now come to find I cannot update that review even though it was made with my own email address, I requested via email for them to update my review and that is when they stopped contact with me. I feel this inability to update with further long term feedback is a lack of transparency for the customer and a red flag. Very disappointed and do not recommend this product or company at all.

 Follow-up  · 1. I tried the reccomend troubleshooting methods reccomend by hydragun Troubleshooting Steps: Check Connections: Ensure the controller is securely connected to the blanket. Power Source: Plug the HeatPod directly into a wall outlet, avoiding extension cords or powerboards. Temperature Setting: Confirm the temperature is set to the maximum (176°F or 80°C). Electrical Safety: Inspect power cords and the blanket for any damage before each use. Water/Liquid Spills: If any liquid is spilled, immediately wipe it clean with a dry cloth. EMF Concerns: While the HeatPod is zero-EMF, some connection points emit very low levels. Maintenance: Wipe down the blanket with a soft cloth after each use. If these steps don't resolve the issue, reach out to Hydragun support via email at support@hydragun.com or WhatsApp at +6588008814 for further assistance. I then contacted the company and was asked to run a full cycle.... that did not help. 2. Yes, I found other complaints about this product 3. This issue and the company response I judge to be major red flags A. The company has still not answered my request to alter my original review on their website.... I will never be so qick to give a positive review again. B. The way that they tried to immediately sell me a replacement controller without offering a refund if it did not fix the problem... when I had sent them my research which pointed to a wiring problem most likely to be the issue. C. They were more interested in selling me another heatpod offering a discount on that but completely ignoring the information I had gathered about the problem. I stored this product very carefully and took good care of it overall... my personal thinking is that in all probability the heating wires being hot and folded are an issue, even when laying over the top of the body the rise and fall causes distress the the wiring.... I allowed my heatpod to cool for around an hour after use before folding half length ways and half again other way... but I feel this still may have caused to much stress on the wiring and possibly it cracked and hence no longer heated the top section. I only used this product around 70 times... which means it cost me more to use than having a sauna at my local community pool would have cost me. Disappointed Not a good experience
