IBM ThinkPad T43

Long Lasting Work Horse – I have been using my T43 since 2006. (2015 now) It turns on every day. I take it on job sites and to motels. I use it in my Truck. It is running XP. No problems ever. Have replaced the battery once. It works in the cold (-4 at King Lake, -1 in Corryong.) And it works in the heat. (+40). I cannot fault this laptop. IBM make the best computers. I from an era when IBM actually ment "computer". They use the best electronics and the system is engineered to a standard, not to a price. I will now start looking for a replacement, only because more and more companies are adding crap to their web sites that require more software updates. Some sites require more ram, graphics, etc. (I rekkon for so they can display more add's.) I will look at IBM / Lenovo and again the T models. Windows 7, not Windows 8 or 10 . (To much going on, on the screen. Gone are KISS days. "keep it simple stupid".)
