The Kulinarisk oven is no longer working – The oven stopped working one week after the 5-year warranty expired. We called Ikea, and they couldn’t help with the warranty, but they referred us to Electrolux service. We paid $112 for a technician to diagnose the problem, a faulty power board that apparently could not be sourced/found anywhere in Australia.

Purchased in at IKEA NSW, Tempe for $990.49.

Rustic, don’t buy, don’t believe 5 years warranty – The coating of the oven is poor quality, I just used it for 2 years and it rusted through completely inside. IKEA said rust is not covered by warranty. Also, the oven not heating evenly. IKEA also blamed me for mistreating the oven rather than taking responsibility. The oven was sold to me with a 5 year warranty, the rust exclusion clause was never mentioned once. I did not read the fine print due to my now-evaporated faith and trust with the brand.

Purchased in at IKEA NSW, Tempe for $1,200.

Ikea Ovens are simply too flimsy – Ikea ovens Kulinarisk and Eftersmak ovens are both based on cheaper products sourced elsewhere. the door is made from cheap feeling matetials and the ovens thermal losses are much higher than any other oven I have used

Purchased in for $520.

Great oven, even temperature, love it – I couldn’t be happier with this oven. It heats up quickly, temperatures are accurate. Lots of functions, even cooking. I love the pyrolysis fu cation. It makes cleaning so easy. I was planning to buy the Electrolux pyrolylitc oven then found out that this oven is essentially the same thing (with a different grill tray), made by the same company, in the same factory, but with a longer warranty and cheaper price point. I love the temperature probe for roasts as it eliminates guess work. So far I’ve baked biscuits, roasted meat and vegetables, cooked pizza, made casseroles and baked cakes. All have worked out perfectly. I love that there are multiple settings and that you can turn off the fan forced function. I haven’t used the recipe function yet and probably won’t. The user interface is easy and intuitive. I can’t find a fault with this oven.
