recieved them. Couch however does not. If not for the logistics of returning this i would have done so already. I would not re purchase this as i think i could have done better.

8.5years and despite the love and difficulties we had endured over these long years, the sofa just tipped us over the edge.

I feel that as a result of the cruel and calculating curse put upon this it broke our relationship. I should've seen the signs from the previous owners, but I was blinded. I will never get over this.

Thankfully, I no longer own this sofa as my ex has sole custody of it. I hope I'm no longer affected by the curse.

trouble is this sofa is quite small. When we were sitting on the sofa together we had to sit on each other to be comfortable. If we didn't sit on each other (like with legs over legs) we were too close but also too far away from each other for it to be comfortable.

The incessant uncomfortableness of this sofa permeated through our lives and made us miserable and one year later we broke up.

Since then I haven't been able to find another girlfriend, despite trying. Every time I bring someone back to my flat they sit on this sofa and the uncomfortable nature of this sofa makes my dates uncomfortable. My friends have similar issues.

I think it's cursed. Don't buy.

Do not buy! – Bought a 3 and 2 seater Tidafors 6 months ago. Poor quality Tidafors sofas – I wish i had read the reviews before i bought these Tidafors 3 seater and 2 seater sofas. Do not buy. Bought the above sofa's 3 weeks ago. September 5th 2017 Update: Update on Tidafors sofas.

After my recent post, I now have some good news. I got in touch with my local IKEA, and told them I was not happy with having to wait for 2 weeks for someone to come out and make out a report on the sofas.I went in to the telephone call with intention of not being "fobbed off", but Customer Services were absolutely brilliant. They arranged for me to have a full refund + my delivery charge, and they collected the furniture the same week. My advice is to go on-line and find out what your consumer rights are. Also........Don't take "NO" for an answer.

Don't waste your money – Bought Tidafors corner sofa October 2016. After less than 2 weeks seating dented and foam does not spring back as memory foam should. further time. After the third sofa enough was enough. This sofa is not as advertised or fit for purpose. It will not last. IKEA were good in trying g to solve the problem but are in denial re quality and accuracy in advertising. We settled for a £300 refund that they called a damaged goods discount. IKEA state they have had no problems with this sofa but we beg to differ. Very very poor quality and so very disappointing.

Don't buy what ever you do – After going to ikea 3 times I thought this sofa was the one. My husband calls it a torture chair. I called ikea and complained also the color had changed so bad it looks like a two tone sofa. Very poor construction, broke within 1 year – Look underneath a sofa before you buy it - a lesson we have learned after buying this Tidafor. Springs run from front to back and are attached to the wooden frame with flimsy white plastic squares hammered in with tiny nails. because the flimsy white plastic bit cannot be reused once broken. Ikea's response was that we had to fix it ourselves. We will never buy an Ikea sofa again...

Poor design choices all round – We've had a set of Tidafors for four and a half years. that a couch wouldn't have seat cushions you could remove and unzip so I didn't think to look when we bought them. So every spill and stain and mark can only be tackled from the surface - better hope your cat doesn't feel like peeing on it!

The structure of it has definitely lost integrity, especially on the one we use more often. There's now a sunken patch that isn't from the memory foam. Also, because the couch cushions aren't removable if you lose anything down the side of the couch you have to squeeze your hand between the seat and the armrest and it's freaky and gross. The cloth covering has torn in multiple places just from being brushed up against a door frame during a move.

At this point I feel like the Tidafors is a lodestone around my neck. It is my cross to bear for choosing such a terrible couch.

So uncomfortable – Despite the model in the local Ikea showroom feeling very soft and springy, the sofa delivered to us is awful - hard and uncomfortable. Awful comfort and quality for the price – I could've gotten a couch that was at least twice as good as this one for the price I paid. It's not comfortable at all. It honestly hurts after long periods of sitting on it. Don't be deceived by the lure of "memory foam." Just bought a new couch after putting up with this for two years.  Show details

Poor quality – Had this sofa replaced three times all of them ripped in the middle and poor quality Ikea customer service is appalling just save yourself loads of hassle and don't buy this sofa.

Love it – I bought the 3 seat sofa from ikea tempe. Very comfy and easy to assemble ( for a single woman like me) .. Although I noticed that it started to get flat after sitting on it for a long while, as I broke my leg and spend some time on it. the design, the color, the fabric The cover should be removable, and have pillows instead of bulky seat, and foot stool should be way less $200

lounge main structural support has collapsed making the lounge useless. I have contacted them and have not been very happy with their options. I have forwarded the matter onto office of fair trading as I beleive they are now not complying with Australian consumer law. I have advised them of the sections that they are not complying with to which their reply was well then submitt a claim with Office of fair trading. Which I now have! Will now stay away from Ikea and advise friends and family of this. Have been very happy with other Ikea products in the past. design of the couch, not the structural design though! Structural design
