Oven door spontaneously shattered – 2 weeks ago the glass inside my 2 1/2 year old oven door shattered spontaneously while I was cooking. I sent an e-mail that night to Eurolinx customer care enquiring about warranty. 4 days later I received a response and was asked to provide proof of purchase and told it was out of warranty but they would have management review it. A week later I e-mailed asking for an update and I still have no response. So far 2 weeks without an oven and very poor customer service, not what I'd expect from a reputable brand and a 2 1/2 year old oven.

Lemon – I am not happy with this oven. Purchased and installed about 3 years ago and it is used a couple of times a week. This last week the oven has been turning itself off. Also noticed that the rubber seal has broken on one side at the bottom. Had the ilve recommended technician come out. He changed the seal and now the door won’t close right up because he tells me they are now using bigger seals, so the door is no longer flush, are they kidding? Then he changed the safety switch put it all back together but realised that wasn’t the problem had to take it all out again and then said there was a problem with the griller element which was shorting out. I don’t use the griller I reckon it might have been used twice in 3 years. So had to replace that. Cost nearly $500 for a not very old oven. Really annoyed and of course out of warranty!!
