Not good – The seat is ok and quite easy to install but my 3 year old son can open the seatbelt and jump out. Not good for safety which is the whole point of having one.

Hi Wayne, Unfortunately due to the type of buckle and the pressure force for the release of the buckle is designated by the Australian Standards, there may be occasions where a child may be observant and curious enough to work out how to undo the buckle and figure out a technique that works for them to get it undone. Unfortunately do to the one step release requirement, there are no add-ons or products that can be used with the buckle to prevent a child from unbuckling.
Not sure if you'd tried this, but some parents have found that placing the rough side of a velcro sticky dot on the red button, has prevented children from pressing it as they are deterred by the spiky feeling.
