iTechworld 3000A Portable Jump Starter & Backup Power Bank JS80

Poor quality with same problem reoccurring with multiple customers. The units seem to fail after minimal use and won’t take on charge anymore. I have called ITech to troubleshoot but there’s nothing they can do, I assume this is a regular conversation based on the amount of people I’ve discovered with the same issue. Waste of $350 Show details
Don’t waste your money like me on another iTechworld piece of Junk. Car battery went flat got the jump starter out sitting on 96% charge. The fuel pump started working and despite 13 volts over the battery it couldn’t turn over the Dmax. Called RACQ he got his small jump starter and away she went. Show details
It will not turn off after recharging, the four battery indicators and off/on button remain on, when holding the off/on button for 10 seconds it does not turn off. Do not waste your money. Show details
First time I tried to use it discovered it was flat. Tried to charge it but couldn't. iTech was absolutely no help so I threw it away. Literally threw $220 in the bin. Then I wrote a bad review on their website and it was deleted. Show details
Purchased this as a back up whilst travelling, used it for the first time today to help a lady with a flat battery, easy to set up and use, got her out of trouble Excellent product Show details
Unfortunately, I haven’t had the opportunity to use the JS80 on any application. From all previous reviews from the Itechworld customers, I feel the product will meet my requirements. I found the JS80 Starter obtained a quick charge, numerous outports and the value of an inbuilt Lithium battery to be of great benefit. Love the case and… Read more

I chose the JS80 Jumper Starter, as a backup starter for my LC200 Land Cruiser, if required. 6 hours of battery life for my car fridge, sounds great as a backup. I would love to have confident deep cycle battery(under bonnet), to maintain my car fridge and provide a suitable jump starter if required. That’s why I bought the JS80.
Jump start power when you need it! – I have a diesel hilux, which had been sitting idle for 6 months. When I used my cheap jump start device, it exploded into pieces. My neighbour used his JS80 and the car started first kick. I was sold hence my purchase of the JS80 Show details
Jumps starter pack that is versatile and powerful! – Needed a jump starter with some power and also could be used as a short term power supply for 12v appliances like car fridges. Already had a smaller jump starter which is good for smaller petrol and diesel powered vehicles but wanted something with a lot more power - the JS80 is probably one of the best jump starters on the market (not the… Read more
cheapest but certainly one of the best for its type) and it certainly has plenty of power !

I have tested the jump start from flat battery (no effort to start diesel 2.4L, bigger engines would be no challenge) - Supplier claims it can start up to 40 vehicles on one charge (cant attest to that but if it started mine when flat just once I would be happy!).
Hooked up my Brass monkey fridge and ran it on freezer mode (-14 degrees) - it ran for over 3.5 hours on one charge (was showing 25% left when I unplugged it) Have seen other reviews say that is ran an Engel or similar on fridge mode (40L fridge) and it went up to 6 hours - have run a 300W inverter from the unit and plugged in a small television - it worked very well - not sure how long it would last but would be very handy in a blackout for short term power.
The build quality is very good and all outlets and sockets have proper covers (rated to IP65) - this would be very handy unit in your boat as well as the car.
My only negative is that I wish I had purchased the hard case when it was on special with the starter - the hard case is very good, the bag is ok, keeps it together but nowhere near as good as the hard case.
All in all a very well built, powerful and versatile Jump starter ! Would highly recommend it !!
PROS . Well built, very good feature set . Plenty of power (3000 amp! starting) . Good for short term backup to run car fridges and small appliances . Comes with wall charger, bag and set of jumper leads and a plug in 12v cigarette socket . Visible LED % of "capacity left" meter which is very handy . Many layers of protection (as listed in the features)
CONS . Some may see the cost as a bit high and a negative but you get what you pay for generally and this is no exception
