iTechworld JS60

To this point I’m not that impressed. I’ve only had it a few weeks, charged it, and stored it in my car a fortnight ago. I bought this as I was experiencing slight intermittent battery problems with my car and heading away on a road trip - a backup. I pulled it out a few days ago. Flat, unresponsive, refused to be charged, and making weird crackling noises during the charging process. I’m away from home for an another month so getting it to WA and back to my place in SA (with no one home) might be problematic. So I’ll wait until I’m home. So far, this has not been what I was hoping for. The customer service experience has been good but let’s see how the rectification goes - fingers crossed.
Purchased in at iTechworld for $150.
Bought the JS60 and threw in the boot as insurance. One month later came back from a two week holiday overseas to find a flat car battery at Brisbane airport. The battery was so flat the fob key would not open doors had to use the key. Once in I hooked up the JS60 with fear and trepidation that the battery was so flat the jump start may not work. Absolutely no problem, the engine started immediately and we were on our way home within 10 minutes. Much better than waiting for the RACQ. Since then I have discovered several uses for the JS60 where portable 12v power is required such as my tyre inflator. Great product at a great price.

Well, I must say that itechworld very efficiently checked out the jump starter and replaced it immediately. I’ve given it a few months to convince me it working properly, and it seems it is - hopefully. Thanks I went from one star initially, for the product, but the warranty was handled very well so I bumped it up to three stars.
