I have a Bookers Bourbon Batch no B-K-28-84 #01877 . Could you advise of approx. value please. From memory this bottle was given to me as a 21st present (34 yrs ago) and might end up drinking with my son when he turns 21 (18mths time).Cheers
Did you ever get a response to this query KNT? I have a bottle from exactly the same batch I got for my 21st birthday (25yrs ago) and would love to know if it has appreciated in value or not.
i have a bottle of bookers bourbon over 7 years 10 months old proof 125.6 with batch no. C89- E- 26 1 have had this bottle since 2011 how much is it worth? thanks col.
Hi Colin, Wine when stored in the right conditions will improve in flavour as it ages in the bottle, but unfortunately this is not the case with Whiskey. In the wooden barrel Whiskey gets it's nose and flavour from the wood, but when bottled Whiskey stops maturing.
So to answer your question, your Bookers should taste the same now as it would have 7 years ago, so the only added value would be for a Collector looking for an older style bottle or label.
As far as value goes, you could try listing it on eBay (you would have to list it as an auction for 'the glass bottle' if you don't have a Liquor License), but you would probably get better value sipping it yourself :)
What is the alcohol content
Hi Ray,
Alcohol by volume ABV can vary with Booker. It depends on the cask strength and how much alcohol is lost to the angels during the ageing process ! But you will generally find that Bookers will be between 62 % and 65%
How much would a 750ml bottle of Booker Noes Bourbon sell for now if bought in 2005
I don't imagine that the price would or should change much if at all.
$100
