they do not lock in stowage position. Have to restow. I am left handed, designed for right hand people. Read the manual, complied and found it to be an absolute heap of rubbish. There's a couple of hundred gone.
Don’t waste your money – This is the worst ironing board ever, after ironing there is water dripping from under the board, and all over the floor and takes hours to dry out, so when you stand up the board water obviously drains down and pools in the gutter of the board. I am thinking it is the cheap ironing board cover the issue after buying a felt pad to see if that made a difference - it didn’t. And then even folding it up is not one simple movement. Show details
Great Ironing Board but damaged in arrival – The ironing board is really good. However like many other reviewers the board was in a damaged state when I purchased it from Harvey Norman - one of the sides of the top surface had been bent downwards. I was able to bend it back, but the manufacturer really needs to look at their product packaging and transport processes and fix it - it is spoiling the reputation of a great product. Show details
Terrible! Such a waste of money! – Don't bother wasting your money. Not only is the ironing board terrible but the customer service from Joseph Joseph is worse! They don't respond at all. the slightest of movement will cause the iron to fall. For an expensive ironing board it's absolute rubbish!
Worst product ever made – As all other people said...one leg shorter than all others. Cant be fixed as its all welded. Wife cant contact them online as they havent replied after 3 attempts. Item should be taken down from the website and should be recalled due to unsafe design/manufacture. To save face, Joseph and Joseph should contact all customers and offer a full refund. Don’t Buy - Ironing Board Wobbles and is Unstable - No Customer Support – Purchased online directly from Joseph Joseph Australia. This is a horrible ironing board. responding. Joseph Joseph don’t offer customer phone support, only email, and all my emails have been ignored. How can you return the faulty ironing board if they ignore you? Thankfully, I bought from their online store using PayPal and today, I submitted a refund case under PayPal’s Buyer Protection.
Regarding the design, it’s impractical. You need four hands to fold in the legs before stowing it away. It’s frustrating.
One leg is shorter and it wobbles – It’s been 14 days since I received my ironing board and 14 days since I emailed the J&J contact line. No response and no way of phoning a contact center. I have an item that is faulty and no where to go to get a response. Not good enough! Show details
There is no better ironing board than this – I am very happy with this purchase. Whilst it cost significantly more than a standard ironing board, the actual quality is vastly superior. More importantly, the layer you iron on makes ironing easier and produces a better result. I iron every day and wish I'd purchased this board, and a good iron, a long time ago. It just makes life easier.
