Wrong colour. Fortunately no skin reaction, but medium-brown is dark brown on a white beard and NOTHING like on the box. As my hair is true medium-brown I had to shave it all off - otherwise I looked like a backwoods logger. Unless you want dark brown I would ONLY go for the light brown and much less than they recommend! Show details

I then started getting ads for a soap but after the very few reviews for the product and high price I decided against it.

Then I thought I’d give “ Just For Men Control GX Beard Wash 118mL” a go. It was pretty cheap and what did I have to lose, I could always shave off my beard.

I’ve been using it on my muzzle area now and it’s been about 3.5 weeks, honestly I was skeptical at first but slowly I have noticed it working! My beard is still gray but not white. Smaller patches have blended into the darker areas. The beard is looking great, I’m not feeling as old. And I seem to be getting looks from the ladies again, not that I care but it’s nice.

I didn’t test it like packaging recommends. I have had some skin problems in past, you can see my previous reviews, but no issues here thankfully. I have used it every days except a couple of Sundays. My beard looks great. I feel like me again. I use it in the shower, I get my beard wet then apply and leave in for 3 mins or so then wash out. I do have a scrub daddy (product) in the shower and wipe down the area with my foot ontop after use as I have read it can stain. I have seen no stains anywhere though. Hopefully it continues to be a good product.

Good product – I find that the dye wears off after a few days. However, the applicator pen contains enough to reapply. It's easy to apply too and excess washes off after you wash your face or shower. Show details

severe chemical burns – Do not buy, read the reviews, this crap is dangerous and Im appaulled its still being sold. Left with severe chemical burn after 4 mins, skin is red, swollen, burning , blistered and weeping that much I need a towel to catch the constant dripping of fluid. Beware, can cause vitiligo as stated on the box! – Although the products works in terms of colouring your facial hair, it can and has in my case caused vitiligo after a few uses. Vitiligo is a skin condition that causes white patches on your skin. There is a warning on the box of the product stating this and it also states that it could be temporary or permanent. Not the same product – Have used this product ten years ago and had no noticeable adverse effects. But during Covid in 2020 started to grow my beard but this time Just for Men gave me unbearable itchiness for two consecutive days on each application and left red marks on my face. few days. For the first few days, the appearance is excellent and my beard seem softer and fuller. I use it because I feel the mottled grey in my beard looks dirty. Yes, you definitely look and feel younger! I will apply it weekly now. It takes about 10 minutes all up.

Disaster for your Face – I used this for a couple of years with no adverse effects, although it needed to be re-applied far more frequently than stated on the box. Should be banned, will burn your face off – I applied this product for 2.5 - 3 minutes - the instruction state leave it on for 5. I wasnt after a dramatic result so I left it on for half the time. However, a day later - severe itching. 2 days later - face has blistered up, puss is oozing out of my face 24/7. Buyer Beware – My husband used this product & got chemical burns. It started as a slight irritation & a couple of hours later his skin was blistering with bubbles of puss & weeping. like I have been burnt by an icy torch!! Please beware about using this product. It is a chemical concoction of pain and misery! Your face is priceless, and this product is heartless. Chemical Burns from beard product 16/06/20 – I have just returned from the doctor with a prescription for cortisone and antibiotics after a stage 2 infectious burn caused by applying this product to my beard. A patch test was undertaken, but allergy to PPD in the product is activated on a first use but not evident until a second. And sometimes it takes 48 hours to start to literally burn. Show details

Terrible - you will itch for days – My husband used this product (February 2020) and it burned his scalp and his face. You will itch for days after using this product. Never again! Will burn your face!!!! – I used this product to cover up a grey patch on my chin. Was all good after 2 uses, but then I noticed my skin turn red and was very itchy. I now use a natural product from GO VITA stores - https://www.aromaganic.com/permanent-hair-colour/ no 3.0 Although it is a hair dye, but this works for me. I used a pea sized amount of equal amounts of the two ingredients to use in a small like like 15 ml cap that is on top of a cough syrup bottle, mix together with cotton tip to form a paste, brush on beard with a small very fine brush on beard. I found it went like a purple colour in the 5 minutes but when i washed it out no more then 10 minutes it worked with no burning.
