Good head unit, but disappointing Bluetooth handsfree performance – I bought this for the wife's car as an upgrade. The main features I bought it for were being the Bluetooth hands free ad reversing camera input. I've updated the firmware from 1.03 to 1.05 but find the hands free performance very average. When making calls, the person you are calling often ends up receiving a distorted and hard to hear voice.

Turning the microphone gain down (NOTE: all the Bluetooth hands free adjustments are only visible when making a call) from the default level "3" (maximum) to "1" has improved it, but it is still very obvious the call is being made from a below average hands free device. The only other adjustment is echo cancellation ON or OFF.

As a comparison, my older Kenwood head unit has far more adjustments for the bluetooth handsfree and most people don't even realise I'm making a call from the car.

On the positive side, the display with DVD's is clear for the size of the screen; the reversing camera picture is also very good (using a cheap $25 Ebay Sony CCD camera); there's enough power to get quality sound with decent speakers. It also responds instantly to touchscreen inputs (unlike my Kenwood!) Decent audio performance, nice display with DVD's, clear picture with aftermarket CCD reversing camera, responds instantly to any touch screen input. Bluetooth handsfree very average in performance, that's why I've only given it 3 stars.
