This tv is the biggest piece of garbage I have ever owned. Randomly turns off, so slow to load to turn on tv, buffers randomly looking for audio when you are watching TV as well as other annoying glitches. Can't set freeview time correctly atm. only owned this for 1 year and 10 months. The tv is technically working so couldn't return. I would class this as a lemon & would never buy JVC again. $500 down the drain. Not even worth 1 star.
I have had two of these tv's and both got the black screen from the backlights stopped working. I will not buy this brand never again and I recommend everyone to do the same. Show details

Internet connection problems – Within the warranty period the TV stopped connecting to the internet. Someone came out and fixed it but within another six months it happened again and was no longer in the warranty period.
Wth. crap – Purchased from big w.a few days ago.easy to setup.picture and sound are good.so far.BUT.really.it takes 2 minutes to watch a TV station if you know what to do.45 seconds for the screen to appear.then.a apps pages appears.have to go to input.select antenna.then guide.no guide pages.have to manually go though all stations.2 minutes all up.but it was cheap.dont buy one.spend a bit more. JVC TV - Do Not BUY – DO NOT buy this TV I have unfortunately purchased from Big W and only after 2 yrs the picture fades in and out sometimes the sounds goes. It is covered by 1 yr warranty ONLY! Not worth the money.Phoned JVC and they will do nothing. I am on a pension and its nearly Christmas so no TV for me.
LASTED LESS THAN 18 MONTHS – Jvc tv now worthless , my pesioner mother had done a cash (cant find the receipt) purchase & jvc wont even toy with the idea of helping out poor service do not buy there label didnt last 18 months even
just like the other JVC TV reviews, disappointed buyer – Started with 3 lines, now have the screen has lines - purple and green. Pretty crappy from the start and just went downhill from there – First up there was a few lines at the bottom of the screen. They appeared periodically so I could live with them. The remote and marketing says it is a "Magic" remote but the tv could not connect voice controls because the LG OS was not provisioned for that function. screen went completely black. Still had sound, but no picture. T Con board failure BUT there are no replacement parts available for this model. The last thing which is always difficult to identify is the lack of decent APPs for the tv. There are plenty of Indian TV channels and APPs but very few relevant to Australia. After this experience, and researching the JVC company, I would definitely never buy another JVC product.
Warrantied a remote and the remote under warranty doesn’t work – Remote was faulty from brand new, asked for a replacement under warranty and the warranty remote is not working after a month. Wouldn’t recommend Show details
Better Sound from my Mobile and Tablet – After fiddling around for several weeks.. the sound is so muffled you can hardly hear the conversations. When I applied it to my surround sound home theatre it now echo's... so bad it's almost amusing. Show details
I had it for 18 months and it got a line through it – Smart tv wasn’t that smart anyway. New models have android which is better. But taking the risk of the screen suddenly having a line across it. Not good. Get the extended warranty !! Show details
