Does some things well, others not so much – Works well as a pipe cleaner, but fails in the gutter department. The shuttle is too tall to pass under the low profile gutter clips used in a lot of Australian houses.

Purchased in for $136.

Pipe cleaning works a treat... Gutter cleaning waste of time! – 4 stars for pipe cleaner... 0 stars for gutter cleaner! I bought this Karcher 264224000 Gutter and Pipe Cleaning Kit with 20m long hose because the 7.5m hose was too short and this was cheaper than the 15m long pipe cleaning kit... with the added BONUS of being able to clean my gutters! I'd had a blockage in the storm water pipe for years that was causing the gutters to overflow and flood our property (when thunderstorms occurred), called a plumber but he never got back to me... finally since I had a Karcher Winner 11 high-pressure cleaner I thought that this accessory would be the solution. Went to Karcher and they told me I needed an "Adapter M" 26439500 which would allow me to attach any of the "K series" attachments to the Winner. That arvo I cleaned out my stormwater pipes, a little bit of hard work as I had to pull it in and out a few times to clear the major blockage... just be careful not to pull it all the way out when it is running as the head flicks around and I nearly broke a window! There is supposed to be RED marker but it's not clearly marked (Hey Karcher, I'd like a few measurement marks along the hose 1m, 2m, etc, so I know how far it has gone up the pipe). I had read the reviews of this and knew that it may not fit my gutters BUT luckily I "thought" it did... not so for my next door neighbours (as I'd like to clean their gutters along the boundary which also floods our property) BUT alas it definitely won't fit theirs (Metricon Home owners beware) as the gutters are too narrow... you need a flat bottom gutter of 90mm and clips that provide a clearance of 45+ mm under them. A few weeks later I tried it on a STRAIGHT section of guttering (note, the shuttle won't go around corners) and it got stuck within 3m under the overhanging tiles, tried to cut 10mm off the shuttle... waste of time! I DID manage to use the pipe cleaner (as suggested by another review) around some 45 degree angled guttering BUT on a straight guttering using the pipe cleaner was a bit dangerous as it just flew up like a COBRA. Looks like I'll just return to my old form of gutter cleaning manually grabbing (with a gloved hand) the muck and disposing of it (saves water anyway).

Purchased in at Karcher for $149.90.

Complete waste of time and money – On the surface, it theoretically looked just the solution to my problems. In reality, it is a frustrating tool that doesn't work. If your gutters are like mine and are held on by gutter clips, then the sled is too high to get under the clips rendering it completely useless for it's intended purpose. Don't waste your money.
