Karcher K 6.800 eco!ogic

This is a fantastic pressure washer, I have used it for many years without a problem and I wouldn't be without one now. Although it is still going strong and still like new, I have in fact bought the new one to make sure that I have a back up since I have had the first for about 10 years now.

Very good quality. Perfect for Home and workplace – We have used this brand for years and have recently purchased a few of the Eco 6.800 High Pressure Cleaners for work and home. Easy to set up (took 5 mins). Also purchased the telescopic attachment for the 2 story windows and awnings around the home. Have had no problems. Awesome power and easy to move around. Cost $899 plus a few extra attachments and cleaning products.

A few of our friends have also purchased the same model and are loving it.

5 year warranty is great to have also.

Expensive and poor quality for what it is - definitely not worth the money – I paid $1079 for this pressure washer. The main purpose was for home use to clean my alfresco and driveway concrete from dust buildup and generally clean the roof of my house, gutters and also to wash my 4x4 after some off-road trips. Within the very first use the markings on the Vario power wand that comes with it to indicate what type of water jet is in use came off. Really?... for a thousand dollar product? Then the patio accessory is absolutely useless since the water pressure isn't even enough to move the water in a direction away from the accessory when cleaning a surface... basically just leaves a mess behind when you use it. Washing the 4x4 was ok but using it for more than 30 min on full power cleaning my driveway it loses power and then I have to switch it off for 10 to 20 min to cool down before I can use it at full power again. The other annoying thing is that the hose keeps on twisting - surely for a thousand dollar product something as basic as a swiveling hose / gun mount to stop the hose from twisting around kinking can be expected to be part of the package? The design is also top heavy - when you pull the hose from the reel in the pressure washer you need to stand next to it and hold the pressure washer upright with one hand so that it doesn't fall over whilst unwinding a constantly twisting hose. The soap dispenser is also a really poor design with the variable knob supposedly used to control the amount of soap dispensed really not working very well since the soap will sometimes come out and other times not...this is a common complaint all over the internet.

Really disappointed in this product and for the price I couldn't possibly recommend this to anyone. Poor design and poor quality for an expensive price. I sold it for $350 after paying over $1079 for it, owning it for less than 6 months.
