Be careful of loose frontplate connection problems – I installed this unit in my car to replace old sony unit that did not have USB connection. I am disappointed as the faceplate connector got loose. So it's a struggle to turn the unit on as I have to fiddle with it to work every time. I have not used it extensively and after researching found out that this is a common problem with Kenwood front plate detachable units. The sound is alright though. I would not recommend someone buying this if you need longevity for your music system.
Awesome sounding headunit, music comes alive..!! – Just got this headunit installed In my car to replace a 4 year old Sony unit. I have been using the Kenwood for two days now and have to say it is awesome!! Was worried about buying this unit after reading some mixed reviews, but so far I am glad I chose to go with the Kenwood it really is a top quality unit. The 5 band eqs are very easy to use and achieve a desired sound with, took me about 5 mins to get everything sounding awesome, very powerfull headunit with 4v preouts. Built in X overs easy to use too. I bought this headunit mainly for it's iPod control features and it definately works beautifully here. Bluetooth phone calls are very simple with this headunit also.. Very happy would definately recommend this headunit to others. Sound quality, iPod functionality Weird lines flash (animate) on display when you turn volume up or down, apart from that awesome..
