Looks great but catches fire – The temperature dial on the side would never be consistent. First slice would be burnt and then the next slice would hardly be toasted. This morning the toaster caught on fire. I have had a few toasters in the past and this one by far is the worst. A waste.
Decent toaster, nice colours – I chose this toaster as it had a plain design. I have had it for a few weeks and it works fine. Note that it is not very deep, so if you have "high tin" style loaves you will need to turn them upside down. Standard size fits fine. Also not particularly wide. Crumpets fit okay but thick slices would not fit. "Bun warmer" works and the name makes us giggle :-)
It isn't quite as sturdy as I would wish and unfortunately made in China. I suspect the metal around the toasting slots will discolour. For these reasons I only gave it 3 out of 5.
*** Update: the metal around the toasting slots has rusted/discoloured a bit as I suspected. However, I probably could have avoided this by wiping condensation off the toaster after use (e.g. with a teatowel). But the toaster has worked well and the "bun warmer" is really good so I have upgraded my star rating to 4 out of 5. The bun warmer is helpful for forgetful people who tend to leave things too long under a grill. You place the item on the warmer, press down the lever, and the item is heated/slightly toasted safely. You can repeat for each side.

Beautiful toaster, but rather slow after a while – We bought this toaster almost two years ago now. It is a beautiful bright yellow and really brings a bit of colour to our kitchen. We chose this product in particular because it was small, attractive and had a matching kettle. I do love the "pop-up" function, where you can check the toastiness of the currently cooking slices. I love the colour. I don't have any use for the toast warmer attachment so this has been discarded in the back of the pantry somewhere.
I have noticed that after about a year, I've had to drastically increase the toast dial as the toast just stopped toasting well at the middle setting. I have now had to change it to the highest setting which means it takes a long time to toast now. I'm not sure if my product is faulty or if this happens to all machines. It is now noticeably a lot slower to get a decent toast than toasters I've had in the past. colour, size seems to lose toasting strength after time, expensive when I bought it
Good looking Toaster – I must admit I bought this for the looks but it toasts great. Even and quick. I bought the toaster in orange with the matching kettle and love it. I was upping and urring about buying a 4 toaster since there is 5 people in my household and we always get visitors that stay over but I didn't want a big looking toaster on my bench. The is slick in design and since it doesn't take look to toast I haven't had in dramas. So far so good. Looks great and does a great job. A little pricey but everything is these days.
Love this toaster – I badly wanted a Dualit toaster - until I remembered the price. Ridiculously expensive for a toaster - handmade or no - and the reviews were bad anyway. So, I went looking for something that was simple in design - something I would want to leave on the bench of my new kitchen. I bought this in white in a four slice. It makes great toast, and is pretty quick too. It has a warming rack (which I haven't used). I'm so glad I saved my $400+ and bought this toaster. Price and design. Works well. Easy to pull out crumb drawers.
