New kiddie Kutter knife isn't worth a dollar – Teaching kids knife skills is so much harder with this product. Would NOT recommend. The old design were pretty good. I've owned and raved about these knives for years. A week ago I bought the new wooden handled knife for over $20 and my step mum excitedly bought one for her other granddaughter. We got them home and gave it to my 3 year old and the thing hardly cuts apples. I'm shocked. I tried and it's rubbish. Save your hard earned money. The new style knife is useless.
