King Living Strata Sofa

Need to visit the physio if I sit on it for more than 30 minutes – We bought this couch a few years ago and it was the worst furniture purchase I have made in a long time. put them in the sun and that sagging was normal". Sagging to the extent that a lounge of this size and price is NOT normal. This lounge is simply not fit for purpose.

Sleek look but terrible frame quality - sagging in middle after 1 year – We brought this couch two years ago, and from about a year, the middle seat sags, so badly that when you sit next to someone you almost roll towards them into the dip/sag. not enough, customer service told me it was just normal wear and tear wanted to charge us a fee to send someone out to look at the couch.

Strange that my much cheaper Dare sofa never had the same 'wear and tear' sagging problems for the 10 years I owed it (and it was also a long 3 seater).

Disappointed, especially as we brought a King sofa after being recommended by friends.

Won't buy again.

Strata Lounge – I purchased my Strata lounge a few years ago from King Living in Fortitude Valley and have been so happy with the design. I wanted a lounge that looked very stylish and that could also be used as a bed. I love how it can be made deep or more upright for the seating. Disaster – Bought Strata fabric sofa last year. Nightmare! Very poor back support and the lounge looks like it's ten years old. Will never return to Kings as it is overpriced for poor quality products in my opinion.  Show details

Beware. Buy only dark coloured leather – Our strata suite may well be strong and a smart style, but the True Touch leather is weak. We paid extra for a special finish but within 5 years, with careful cleaning and 2 professional scrubs by Bulls Leather care, the 'Linen' colour on the single chair had worn right off. people. After several requests for advice, King really don't care. Not good enough for a $12k- $13k suite which, as a retired couple, we thought would last for us forever. We wish we'd bought black.

King Furniture Strata – We have acquired king furniture product for some time, the lounge / ottomans have been durable and are still used todays for nearly a decade. on). After explaining our situation and that the lounge is in a secondary room - the response from their customer service division was initially "sorry out of warranty". After some debate they have advised we now have to pay for a service call - to our disgust we have decided not to proceed (on principal) - paying premium prices does not necessarily equate to premium customer service.

Not a problem – We purchased one of the first King Lounges made..... after 27 years with 3 children a number of cats it is still as comfortable as ever.... we recently were even able to obtain replacement feet. We have just purchased our new king lounges... no problems with delivery... the legs were not with the lounge. They were express posted and arrived a day later.

Unfortunately the old styles are not still around!! whilst very comfortable... miss the old lounges

Still waiting for our bed – We placed an order for the beautiful Neo bed, we also upgraded the fabric to a lovely linen to suit the rest of the house. We were told 10 weeks, which is fine! mattress and delivery I thought I'd just pay for the complete package. BIG MISTAKE!!! It has been months and we still haven't received the bed...received a call a month ago when bed was due to be delivered and was told that there were a couple of problems and the bed would be delivered on the 19th of Nov....I did not hear from them this week and called myself....it happens that the order was never PROCESSED!!! But you happily took the money, KING! Some king...still waiting to hear from the showroom team...Hopeless!

So today I sit at home after disposing of our old couch waiting for the new to arrive between 10am & 2pm as scheduled but nothing. A phone call to King Furniture at 2:15 and it appears that our couch WAS on its way from Sydney.....300kms towards where we live just outside of Canberra and for some reason after 1 missed phone call to my wife at work and 30 minutes from our destination the driver is instructed to turn around and go back to Sydney with our couch!!! Now I purchased this couch from Canberra.......

Not happy. People arriving tonight from Tasmania and a nice tile floor to greet them with.

fantastic! You can move it right back to have a wide seat to easily stretch your legs out on. We have a 3 and 2.5 and single seater giving lots of combinations, even to make 2 king singles or a king double for extra guests. Well made. Extremely comfortable. Sleek modern design. Versatile

cannot sit for long on it because my bum goes numb, it is that hard! We have now bitten the bullet and decided we just can't bare it any longer and are purchasing another couch to replace it. Can't sell it on-line to anyone either - wonder why? Do not waste your hard earned money!!!

Expensive, hard seat, have to slouch to sit on it, back cushions saggy and flat.

Disappointing, will not buy king furniture in the future – We bought a strata, fabric couch three years ago, drawn by bowling ball advertising and 15 year warranty. Due to the cavities in the couch we are now investigating how we claim the warranty.

We also find the single seating pad design does not work well and next time we will buy a couch with separated seating cushions.

We would not purchase another King Couch. Looks good, for the first couple of years it was great to sleep on Quality is disappointing as the couch has degraded

I got it in Mammoth leather which apparently is one of the thickest King offers and I am glad I did this and also glad I got it in black because it seriously bounces back from all spills and scratches.

The only thing that is a little unflattering is the back cushions which droop but my wife punches them when she is angry and they fluff right back up... the feather makes it go all droopy but 'markmeword' without this that comfort wouldnt be there.

Love this sofa and when they said 15 year warranty because they believed it would last that long, at first didn't believe them but after 6 years I actually do ! style, colour, comfort
