I have a 3 1/2 year old cloud II that cost over $10k for a large 3 seater. The leather colouring has already worn off and like many others the seat sags where the foam was so cheap and nasty that it is deteriorating. I got a quote for over $1000 to replace the seat cushion - ridiculous. Now the headrest has stopped working. We paid extra for the… Read more

side tables with wireless charging that never worked properly. This is simply the worst lounge I have ever purchased - promise of quality but reality is cheap Chinese built to a price. I would expect word will get round quickly with regards to not purchasing this poorly made furniture.

The worst part is I doubt even the salvos would take this 3 year old lounge as it is below the quality they would sell.

Bad customer service – We bought a recliner, 3 seat Cloud (cost of $9,000 odd ) in 2020. I have had nothing but trouble with the headrest as whenever you put it up or down it pops out of the frame. I contacted King Living. Website states they have a 25 year warranty on their structure so emailed only to be told, no - because it’s a moving part it is only a two year… Read more

warranty but we can charge you to send someone out to have a look and then charge you to fix it. I am extremely annoyed and would never purchase anything from King Living again. We bought a lounge from Natuzzi at the same time and have never had a problem with it and it gets more use than the king living lounge. Very unhappy.

Worst Lounge ever - DECEPTIVE WARRANTY STATEMENT – Had King Furniture send a technician to look at our sofa. (We had to pay for him to attend) He stated that the frame was bent near where it pivots for the footrest on two of the four lounges. There is a 25 year warranty on the steel frame. Tech reported that the mechanism is bent, King furniture state that because he called it a mechanism its… Read more

not covered by the steel warranty. What is actually covered by the warranty? Not the bent steel frame apparently. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT AND DECEPTIVE WARRANTY STATEMENTS.

Over priced but looks expensive – Kings lounge Cloud 111 Nothing but trouble with the mechanic of the lounges .. the quality leather for $14,900. 00 So not work it! Would never recommend in buying if you have to pay for the technician to come out and fix the recliner each time. Customers service was ok at the beginning but after a year they are not interested . Show details

King Cloud II furniture – A great product had a few issues with sensors, aftersale service excellent. If a had my time again I would have gone for the softer, more expensive leather. I purchased with side tables and light, a good option. Show details

Continued electrical issues – We have had continued issues with the electric recline function of this couch. There is only a 2 year warranty on electrics. When our couch would constantly get stuck in the recline position, the electrics were fully replaced by King Furniture while still under warranty. However, 4 years into ownership, the issue has arisen again, this time… Read more

because of a faulty sensor. King Furniture insisted on upfront payment to come and fix it and refuse to refund this charge despite the ongoing faultiness of the product. Will not pay a premium for King again.

Non stop Mechanical failure – After assuming we were buying the one of the best quality lounges out on the market, to find out within months of purchasing king cloud 2 seater lounge, mechanical failure started happening. It get stuck in extended position. Within the first year it happened 3 times!!! I had it fixed and on the 3rd time they did a couplete change of the mechanics… Read more

explaining this should fix the problem. At this stage I'm thinking after paying so much for this high quality lounge I shouldn't have to be putting up with any problems and I was wanting a refund by this stage. But they assured me it won't happen again. And guess what happened after the complete overhaul and only a few months later, it's happened again!!!! So I would recommend not to buy any lounge from kings that is a recliner. Very unhappy customer.

Most comfortable lounge ever – This is so comfortable. Just get a floor rug to hide the cords. This is also versatile - we just converted our 2 seater to a 3 seater when we moved house. I highly recommend the scotch guarding and also the King side tables that hook into the lounge suite. They look really minimal and are very functional. The lounge does not look like a recliner. It looks like a normal stylish lounge suite.  Show details ·  1

Review update - see my previous review titled, What a load of Rubbish – After initial problems with the electronics on my King Cloud II, the sofa actually behaved itself for a year and a half. Then, just after xmas, one of the units got stuck in the reclined position and ' died '. A quick call to customer care, who I have always received great customer service from, and they agreed to send out a technician to, not… Read more ·  1

only fix the one chair, but to replace all the other units ( 4 in total ) with the new King Cloud III modules, sensors and wiring. The technician came yesterday and completed the work. I was having a chat with the tech and he showed me the differences between the old technology and the new King Cloud III tech. I could see there was a major overhaul of the electrical system and all the wiring, connectors, sensors and the touch glide buttons all looked a lot better quality and more substantial. He explained that King Cloud had held a meeting with all their repair agents to identify all the weak spots and resolve the problems. Fingers crossed. In regard to the condition of the leather and spring system, with regular cleaning and conditioning every 8 weeks or so, the sofa has remained in good shape. Some wrinkling of the leather has occurred as the cushioning has settled but all in all I'm happy with the quality of the product.

The moral of the story is, I would suggest that anyone with a King Cloud II, which is still under warranty, who is still having electrical issues, contact customer care because I believe they will offer to update the wiring as they did in my case. It's just a shame that the weak electronics plagued this model in what is otherwise a good product.

Terrible product, worse service – 2 service visits - mechanical failures continue. Wasted money on warranty as transferred between showroom and aftersales center several times with all staff claiming "this is not their area" Very disappointed with product and service considering cost of furniture and extra money spent on warranty.

Terrible Customer Service – We got our king cloud delivered May and the leather was torn on the day. I thought this is a big company and they would check before they deliver their product. They are willing to send you any faulty product and if you are not going to check it, it will be your lost. It will take 8 weeks to fix the problem. Discusting service !!!  Show details

great service – I noticed after a few months my king cloud with tru touch leather wasn't as firm as when I first bought it. I sent an email to King and they came out to check then later put in new domes for me and it's as firm as it was brand new. The service guy was very informative and friendly.

What a load of rubbish – Having debated whether to spend a huge amount of money on a King Sofa we decided to bite the bullet and place the order. We were told multiple times that this sofa would last 25+ years. The sofa was delivered on time as arranged. That's when the problems started. The delivery guys assembled the the units, tested them and left. Literally 10 mins… Read more

later I found that one of the units was faulty and would get stuck in the reclined position and become inoperable. The next day one of the other units packed up with the same problem. I called the help line on Friday morning insisting that the repair agent come that day to fix the problem. To their credit, they quickly arranged this and the repair guy arrived at lunchtime to assess the situation. He found that both units needed completely rewiring and required new control modules. One of the units was also twisted and needed a complete new steel frame. He took both units away for repair leaving me without enough seats for my family to sit on. The moral of the story is, the King Living concept of high quality, well designed, long lasting furniture is great. The reality is that the furniture is manufactured cheaply in China and final assembly completed by incompetent truck drivers at the warehouse in Brisbane. There appears to be no quality control in place and it's simply pot luck as to whether you receive a lemon or not. I'll leave you to make your own mind up in regard to these products.
