It doesn't stop boiling! Once the water comes to a rapid boil, this st^pid kettle tried to burn the water by continuing to boil for 10-15 seconds more. If you have a household of coffee/tea drinkers and a baby, this extra 10-15 second per boil will drive you insane. I returned the first one as I thought it might have been just that one and like the LEDs that changed colour as the water temperature rose, but the second one did the same - eventually swapped it out for a plain old stainless steal and bingo - normal boil.
Purchased in at Kmart for $49.
Although the kettle looks nice, the pour on this kettle is awful. You have to pour so slowly as the spout is too short, so that the boiling water doesn't spill out through the lid. When I say slowly, I am talking SLOWLYYYYYY. It's honestly a hazard and deserves a recall in my opinion. I raised this when I returned it but don't think much was done about it. Also, my one only lit up blue (saw another comment that it lit up other colours but mine defs didn't so probably slightly different models)

Fast & Fabulous! – Great kettle! Very fast - the minimum water 500mL only takes 90 seconds to boil. Five colour changes as it heats up - fun, but still looks like a quality product with black and chrome details. If being very nit-picky, would say its a heavier kettle, the spout is fairly small so not a fast pour, and although has a button to lift the lid, it opens somewhat, then you can manually open the lid wider. I still think it's awesome and would highly recommend, especially for the price!
