Bought this toaster as it had such good reviews. We usually have our toaster on a low setting (2). The outside of this toaster got exceptionally hot. You would get burnt if you touched it while in use and it took a long time to cool down. Not good for people with young children or people with memory lapses. I actually tried to register the heat temp with our temperature machine but it was so high it wouldn't register, just kept showing "Hot". Also the cord was very short so you would have to be careful that the cord did not touch the toaster when in use. Our current 2 Slice toaster only gets slightly warm when cooking. This has been returned for a full refund.
