Kmart Anko Induction Cooker FYM20-55(AT)

It's not horrible however I wish you could be more precise with the temperature as it only goes up and down in 20's
It is noisey when running on some temperatures - I have to use the ones that are quieter. It can have a high-pitched noise on the cooktop and the fan is loud at the back. It’s super fast to start heating, which is great, but it stops cooking food after a short while. I could be cooking on 60 degrees and for no apparent reason, the cooktop stops heating. I find I have to change the temperature up to 80 or 100 to get the induction to begin heating again and once that’s triggered, I can go back to the desired temperature. I’d like to rate it higher because it’s cheap and ‘pretty-much’ works - I just have to stand there and play with the buttons sometimes.
Thanks for sharing your detailed feedback, we’re glad to hear you’re finding the induction cooktop heats quickly, but we’re sorry to hear about the noise and inconsistent heating you’ve experienced. We’d like to look into this further, so please contact us via external link if you’d like assistance.
Two months and BANG! – purchased in June, worked well but always had electric hot smell, then one evening I put the usual pot with 2L water on to cook pasta, the water got to the point of boiling, and there was a loud crack! noise and a flash of light and a lot of smoke, and it also took out the house circuit breaker. That was maybe eight weeks after purchasing it. I then heard that a lot of these particular cookers have failed in the same way. As we didn't expect trouble after it had been fine for a month we'd tossed the receipt but I wouldn't want another one so we bought elsewhere now.
We are sorry to hear about your experience and would like to discuss this matter further with you. Would you be able to share more information here: external link or call us on 1800 124 125? Thank you very much.
