bottom with all these Anko products even clothing Anko everywhere you look at kmart this is a CHEAP and NASTY brand that uses the bottom of the barrel internal parts expecially for fans it's only a matter of time before someone's home burns down SHAME ON YOU KMART from now on I will go to target or big w !!!
Bought Anko frying fan for curiousity due to cheap price – Bought maybe more than a year ago, used it twice, set aside for sometime, just now tried to use it and the plug cord light does not turn on and the pan would not heat up. Turns out a defective cord. I tried all of my cords from different manufacturer Kambrook, breville, etc, but will not fit. Tried searching the internet for replacement part but could not find one.
We are sorry about this, would you be able to share more… Read more
Anko Product is rubbish – Brought one in January 2024, lasted a month and stopped heating, cord was good but not heating, returned it and got a replacement that lasted 3 months and the same thing happened. Do not recommend Show details

Waste of money – After only about 2 months the frypan buckled and warped. Not long after that you could see a permanent mark on the inside from where the element was.

crapped out. but reading all these reviews about this product makes me wonder why kmart is still selling it???? Then I looked up Anko an wow INDIA????? wow to my surprise SCAM ⚠️...... (no offence) I spoke to a kmart customer service person about it. I don't have the reciept for the product so a no exchange or store credit for me ......but honestly if they know this is the issue of this product it should be easy to say 'bring the product in an we will check to see if it is faulty.......an the same thing with the anko vacuum (blue 2000w $39) same thing after a lil while you start it an it sounds like a mower!!! Wow I honestly think anko is making the motors out of foil an honestly kmart that's not a good look for you!!!!!!!

Absolute rubbish it lasted 8 weeks – Absolute rubbish it lasted 8 weeks after being used about 8 times before it died. "temperature control" is a joke unless a cooking technique is cook your food, flat out hot for 1 minute let it cool for two minutes and then cook it full on for one minute, then let it cool for 2 minutes.............you get the drift. And then knowing it is made in Chine who knows what the non stick surface is Show details

Shocking – Takes for every to cook and then it's burnt. As they say I guess you get what you pay for.
Waste of money and extremely unhappy – Purchased the frypan on 13th of September this year and the element underneath has stopped working.Everything was checked on it.Obviously a waste of money.Would never buy again or recommend.Rather spend double the money I payed for it on a well known brand that's been around for years. The quality would be guaranteed and work longer. Useless – Temperature control is dysfunctional. Heats up, then cuts out so everything stops cooking then heats up again. A wok needs consistent heat. Did anyone a Kmart actually test this product before putting it on the shelves???? Show details

Kmart quality control is disgraceful – Bought this frypan in July 23, used it 5 times and the element does not work any more. Heating was inconsistent. Unit was never immersed in water and the cord and temp control unit intact. Extremely disappointed. Show details

Poor quality product – Brought this product less than a month ago and its already stopped working. The power chord is fine, but the element underneath has stopped heating the pan. What a waste of money in a time when the cost of living is so high. Show details

Poor value, inconsistent heat , broke after about 12 months – Have had this just over 12 months , and tonight one of the handles snapped off while washing after dinner. Have always been careful not to immerse it entirely in water . Poor design with the enclosed element at the bottom so when you do wash it , it pours water out when draining . Have never been that happy with it , but consoled myself that for… Read more
the price if it lasted a few years it might be worth it. Inconsistent heat when cooking was a major issue . Some of your electrical products are great Kmart but this is not one of them . Save your money and buy one at three times the price that will last ten years

Glass lid shattered! – Dangerous!!!.. Glass lid shattered 15 mins after using frypan without lid. Turned unit off placed lid on unit once frypan cooled down and 5 mins later glass completely shattered into small pieces and tiny shards. Luckily no one was near the unit at time! Unit lid never been dropped, misused or mishandled in any way! Show details

Lid is a safety hazard – The plastic lid handle does not fix into the screw correctly. I was cooking a hot dish when I lifted the lid and it dropped off onto my foot, causing bruising and burning as I was wearing sandals. AVOID THIS PRODUCT. Show details

Good Quality For The Price – I bought my frypan from KMart at Victoria Point….I have had this one for two weeks and I use it constantly. My last one was the same brand it was two years old when I dropped it and busted a handle and the power connection. At $34.00 they are cheap enough to replace the entire unit, let’s face these days nothing is built to last for years. The… Read more
frypan has easy grip handles. The pan heats evenly. The lid fits the pan well. Most importantly the connection where the lead plugs into the pan socket…is all solid

Absolutely waste of time – My partner purchased this item from Kmart a few months ago. Finally remembered about it and prepared the food to cook. As I was trying to connect the thermostat/cord, I realised it doesn’t connect at all and it just keeps falling out and will NOT go all the way in, so yes it’s loose. Although it does turn on but because it’s loose every time I move it it turns off, but when I have it steady the heating process takes forever. Show details

Electric Frypan – I purchased this product on Tuesday and have attempted to cook 2 meals in it. The control turns on and off during cooking and there are areas that do not heat at all. To try for a consistent heat I turned control up and subsequently burnt my food. I am so disappointed as I have not had an electric frypan for some time. This machine is trash, please do not purchase Show details

Absolute waste of money – I purchased this two days ago. The frypan keeps shutting off. Thinking there was some secret with the control, I read the manual. Nope, just normal frypan instructions. I have spent the last 40 mins trying to cook sausages. Still raw. It heats up and then turns off. I’m sick and tired of fiddling with the control to try to turn it back on. I’m throwing it out. Not fit for purpose – The frying pan turns on and off while you are cooking rendering it a piece of trash that is not fit for purpose. Don’t waste your money on it, go and buy a Sunbeam. Show details
Worst Buy from Kmart ever – I have purchased six of these over two years from Marrickville Metro, while they refund the return they don't seem to last longer than six months which is very frustrating when you're just about to cook meat you've just defrosted and have to throw out. Show details
useless fry pan – Dear sirs, I find that your fry pan is useless in a small area. You have not made provision as to where to put the lid when checking the cooking. I have a old fry pan and the lid clips on to the Handle (good thinking) as for the cord realease system it is not neaded.Go back to the basics with your next model and have a winner

Frustrating and dodgy – Have tried 3 times by exchanging them because of the inconsistent cooking heat after customer service personnel claimed they hadn't had any problems with the product or complaints from customers only to realise that each time was the same issue. Do not waste your time with this faulty product. Show details
Worse frypan – Takes so long to heat up and when it reaches the heat it stops and cools down. Cooked chicken breast for an hour and a half and it still wasn't cooked properly. Have to cook on maximum heat otherwise it'll take ages Show details
ok but scratch easy – cheap enough to be a bit rough with it when stiring foods to cook the ss can scratch easy if you use a metal object to stur foods... easy to clean and has a good fitting lid. keeps temps well. bulky to store Show details
Took it back – Product was awful. Took so long to heat up, and then when it did start frying it would switch off and get cool before repeatedly switching back on. Takes a good 45 minutes to cook a thin chicken breast. Would not recommend buying this product. I returned it after a few days. Show details
cheap and nasty – I guess you get what you pay for. Horrible frypan that dosnt heat anything up properly at all and that has a strange smell from the base of the pan . I am glad I kept my receipt because it is back to the store. I went out and brought a Sunbeam product instead Show details
Waste of money – Yes it is cheap but after dismal performance from more expensive brands decided to try a cheapie . Food only cooks around the heating element of the pan and high temperature not that high and cuts out continuously .After a month of use pan already looking black stained. I only use plastic utensils and look after my products so this is not the… Read more

I will go back to a Ronson, kambrook or a sunbeam after trying a cheapie. You do get what you pay for .
It’s just unfortunate no one can make an exceptional electric frypan and one that last I get than a couple of years.
Avoid the Kmart one though as useless
