Kmart Periodic Table of the Elements Puzzle

Good value for money, minor faults – The pieces fit together well. Each piece is not unique to every other piece, but that is okay because the puzzle is simple enough. Zinc is spelt as zine still (see previous reviews), and the period down the left-hand side has 1 for every row instead of incrementing from 1 to 7. We had just as much fun finding the mistakes as we did solving the puzzle!

Great way to learn the elements – The puzzle was fun to do, and educational too. The pieces fitted together well, despite being a little on the thin side. Unfortunately it does have errors. As well as element 30 being spelled Zine instead of Zinc, element 38 should be Strontium instead of Rubidium (a repeat of element 37). Despite this, good value and great fun!

Zinc not Zine – Having trained as industrial chemist I enjoyed putting this Periodic Table puzzle together. Being up to date there are new elements here I have not heard of before. But note both puzzle and the box spell the element No 30 as Zine and this is incorrect it should be Zinc

Jigsaw puzzle, 500 pieces, Periodic Table of Elements – This is quite an easy 500 piece puzzle since the picture is what it is. The pieces are on the thin side but are a unique cut and there is no problem with pieces fitting in the wrong place. The puzzle is difficult to move because the pieces don't hold together too well. Thicker pieces would probably help here. The puzzle is good in that it does include the newest named elements Moscovium, Tennessene, Nihonium and Oganesson.

This would be a good puzzle for your inner science nerd or anyone wanting a few hours diversion. And if you mount it after completion you will have an up to date periodic table for easy reference for those pointless trivia questions. Hard to fault it for the price.
