Flawed product and most deficient service – Freezer stopped working: 05/02/2022, contacted Kogan support on 07/02/2022. They sent a technician a few weeks ago. It was fixed for less than a week only. Informed Kogan about the freezer not functioning within a week, they want to send another technician to check the product and repair it again. They should have done the assessment and repair at once.
When I asked for a refund, they keep saying "they have to send another technician to repair again" I am not sure, how many more times I have to get it repaired before I can get a refund.
if the product was not able to be repaired at once and it breaks within a week of repair, it is understandably a bad product.
Just want to let people know to stay away from Kogan's Freezer items unless it is alright to go through the hassle of getting a refund like me.
This is ticket #11069994. I got an email from Michael yesterday, he was going to get the technician to call me to collect the unit. No Calls. Then I called the technician today. They have not received any action to collect the unit.
I hope someone in your organisation can sort this problem, where your service agents don't have an awareness of their own communications sent to their customers.

Freezes things but the whole freezer iced up after a month or so – Freezer comes with english instructions written by Someone non English so none of it makes sense to start with. The handle you have to screw on yourself doesn’t screw on as the screw holes don’t line up. After a month or 2 the whole freezer iced over and I have to keep breaking the ice to open any drawers. This is a bad product

Kogan 172L Upright Freezer - stainless steel – Just glad to replace Mum's old chest freezer for more than 10 years with Kogan upright freezer, especially on a Black Friday Christmas special where I had to be quick to order because it was discounted for more than $500. Although I only had it for a week, the quality is excellent, keeping temperature dial at medium and judging by the coldness quality of the freezer I decided to leave 3 x 1kg blocks of cheese and really chilled the cheese solid hard throughout, and if I wanted a block of cheese if I nearly run out, I simply leave the chilled block of cheese in the Hisense fridge overnight to soften. There are 3 drawers where I keep most of my frozen mixed berry fruit. As for the top open-lid compartment, I can leave chilled about 3 x 2L icecream and the bottom open-lid compartment is just small items like butter and other small stuff. Very quiet performance in our small rental housing unit for two home dwellers like Mum and me where the kitchen and lounge are together as one large room. After 2 years use, leaving it on 0 minimum instead of medium would prevent ice build-up and keeps freezer elements and drawers clear from ice, after learning that ice built up mostly in the top 2 drawers. This is because there are 5 elements - each element for each drawer and you wonder why the freezer freezes quickly. Something to be aware of this weird but energy-saving " it's moments like these you need minties" phenomenon.
