Heat mode does not work and i cannot change from "Fan" to "Cold". Really upset, it only the third da – I have purchased this item for a couple of day. It seems to have some internal problem because i cannot change the mode from "Fan" to "Cold" or from any mode to "Cold" mode. The heat mode does not work either after a few days of using this item. What can i do? Can the company change another one for me? It does have those problem since the third day of using and i am really unhappy.  Show details

Nice 4 in 1 Air conditioner and heater – Easy to install the unit. The only drawback is the drainage as it does not pump out the water and has to be drained after a day's of use. Would have a wet carpet if left unplugged. the small saucer doesn't accumulate much. Otherwise very powerful heating and cooling. The hose gets hot too so had to insulate it from dissipating heat in summers. Have been using it for more than 5 years now without any issues. Thanks Kogan! Show details

Cheap, effective - wouldn't be without it – Purchased this unit 12 months ago for my 18" caravan and permanently installed it under the bench (removeable so I can clean the filters). During this time, it has had a complete working (cooling the entire van during 40 degree days and heating the entire van during 7 degree nights). Performed beautifully so far; and best of all it only cost… Read more

$270 (caravan A/C's start at $1500 and need electricians to install them).

When heating though; it does shut off every 5-10 minutes for 5 minute intervals (I'm guessing because the temperature setting gets reached), this is annoying as my caravan does lose heat very quickly...

Note: Getting the venting hose correctly sealed (so it doesn't not leak hot air back into the van and ensuring the outflow of air is unrestricted) is the key to getting maximum performance out of this machine.

Good cooling, crap heating – The cooling cycle is fine and the water tank didn't need emptying much using it and the unit is reasonably quiet. The heating cycle however fills the water tank up in about 30 mins. Emptying the tank is a pain and messy. The valve is located as the very bottom of the machine so it doesn't drain well, the tubing leaks and if it you can't have the… Read more

permanently tubing going through a hole in the floor or outside water gets spilt on the floor every time you have to empty it. After you empty it , the heating function is moody and doesn't work for ages-not sure why. Annoying

Good value for money – I purchased this unit about twelve months ago and I have found it to very user friendly and easy to use and the remote control is very good. I have used it during the summer months and I have just commenced using it in the heating mode now that the weather is getting colder.

Love it – I have used only 2 or 3 times but is being very user friendly especially for a mature lady with no understanding of this type of things I will tell more about it when is winter

Excellent Value! – We purchased a Kogan Reverse Cycle 4-in-1 almost 1 year ago now. It has been excellent, as I have MS; it gets a lot of work in either keeping cool or warm here in Tassie. I find it to be very user friendly, the remote control works great. The only thing I can fault is the water tank being a little small, and we find it needs emptying every couple… Read more

of hours on the cooling cycle. Although, this would vary depending on the humidity inside your home. To combat this; we just drilled a whole in the floor of our lounge room, and ran a 9mm drain pipe (supplied) from where the bung usually goes. Efficient and economical to run. On cooling cycle; the water resevoir may need emptying every couple of hours, depending on humidity.

Very Good – Had the unit for a couple of months now and for the price, it is doing a great job. It is not overly noisy and its cooling is very effective. Its not cool enough yet to comment on the reverse cycle but I have tried it on the unit and it seems to work quite well. Bough it online and arrived 4 days later in regional Queensland. Great cooling and not overly noisy

Great portable aircon for the money – Ran this a few times over the end of summer and definitely cooled the office by a few degrees (I think this space might be slightly larger than the unit was intended for). Was easy to set up, the extendable bracket fits the small window perfectly and the sound level is definitely acceptable. Only downside I've come across is no matter what I… Read more

did I couldn't get the flex tube to stay in the brackets on either end. Ended up gaffer tapping them on (which creates a better seal anyway).

Will try to update this review when winter comes around. quiet, inexpensive, reasonably effective having to gaffer tape the flex tube brackets

Nice and cool – Unit only arrived today and has been installed in my daughters bedroom. The window fitting piece is too short for the window so will have to fit a board on the weekend. It runs quieter than I expected, so my daughter will have no problems sleeping. It was 36 degrees outside this afternoon when we set it up and it cooled the room down quite… Read more

quickly.

So far so good, especially if it only needs to be emptied every few months like advertised.

I managed to get mine with free delivery so for under $300 I am a happy camper. Not having to empty the water tank all the time. Window kit too short for the window.
