and it reminds us regularly in the midst of a thriller movie quiet spot that it's still there!

At the time, delivery was a no brainer as we lived in the western Sydney suburb of Cranebrook so we accepted the $83 delivery fee which included little more than delivery to our garage, a "sign here please" followed by a quick retreat to the cab of their truck and they were gone as quickly as they had arrived. There was some minor damage to the fridge cabinet in places that wouldn't be in plane sight so we just ignored it and went on with the joy of unwrapping and setting up our shiny new fridge!

Coming in at close to 60% the price of similar size fridges in its class we knew there would be some shortcomings but all in all they're not that bad given the $850 price tag on the day. The freezer draws leave a lot to be desired. Made of lesser quality plastic, they can be incorrectly inserted into the runners by inattentive teenagers who then slam the door shut and crack the draw that's sitting proud of its correct position. Better yet, your clumsier than usual teen suffers a total fail while removing the ice tray and sends it flying across the kitchen floor which causes parts of it to break off the corners etc.. Thank gawd for Loctite 424 super glue, that gear gets 5 stars. (Note the grownups not taking any responsibility for damages caused)

We've noticed cracks beginning to appear in the fridge door shelving from regular use by our now monstrous size teens who neglect to consider that 3 litres of milk being dropped into the now 4 year old, low grade plastic shelf from more than 30cm is not going to bode well for its structural integrity. I better order more Loctite 424 instant adhesive! That said, I just this early hour searched the Kogan web site for fridge spares and I was surprised that they have parts for a variety of 'popular brands' but absolutely nothing for their own branded units... WTH Kogan? That's a bit odd.

If we could get replacement shelves and draws at a reasonable cost, I'm sure this fridge would probably last another 3 or 4 years at which point the clumsiest of our teens should have left home and we can downsize to something of higher quality without fear of it being under constant threat of appliance abuse. :) I'll add some photos later from my phone if possible.

Great size both compartments – This fridge is perfect for my needs. Lovely capacity in both the fridge and freezer compartments. Fits large bottles in the door and has 2 separate crisper bins that actually keep veges fresh! The freezer has a handy ice tray twister which is a little low down but is great to have. the size and capacity. Temperature is constant with LED readout on door for both sections. Easy open and close with separate seals which was a failing of my french door that I last had (one seal for both doors) does not work seals were replaced 3 times (Not bought at Kogan). I simply love it, makes my life that little bit easier as I age gracefully :) Sorry I tried to upload pics but 'something went wrong'

Perfect fridge for my big family needs! – Low maintenance fridge. No servicing required unlike branded fridge where you need plumbing for the dispenser function. warm at times. Its been over 2yrs since and still working well. I paid extra 3yrs extended warranty just in case. But so far, i am very pleased with this fridge.

It is cheap for a reason – Delivery team was incompetent. I had to get the fridge in myself as they said it wouldn't fit through the door. It did. Fridge is faulty, and after over 4 weeks and multiple emails from them I still have not had anyone ring to arrange to come and fix it.
