Kogan Wireless HD IP Camera

Does not work – This item is bad and almost cannot understand the instructions which is a small piece of paper. Tried and tried all sorts of things but did not work. Felt relieved when i threw it in the bin.

Not fit for purpose. Wirelss function useless. Bad software. Returned for full refund – It took little time to establish that this item is of terrible quality and not fit for purpose. The unit itself felt cheap and functioned badly. The software was poor quality and continually crashed. The updated software from zmodo.com was no better. Once I finally got the wireless to connect the unit was incapable of saving the login credentials. Any power down or reboot would cause the connection credentials to be lost. The process is supposed to be that you connect manually with an Ethernet cable to access the unit / establish a wireless connection / save the wireless login credentials / reboot. In reality the login details are lost on reboot and you have to start all over again!

Kogan say the unit is "a must have for any home security system". Given how easily my unit lost it's connection I can't see how you could possibly make that claim.

I returned the unit and received a full refund.
