Best jug I've ever owned – This jug has six different settings for tea/coffee making etc. Great convenience. I've had this for nearly eight years and it gets used three and four times a day. Tea is big in my world. Couldn't applaud Aldi for getting this right. But I'm a bit dodgy on buying new one because so many have had a bad experience with them. As usual, the makers are going for profit, not quality. Show details

Satisfied with the product, Not quality! – Good product at the beginning, the price equalise to quality, but in 7 month the black plastic handle came away at the top without warning after boiling the full kettle. Support the opinion of others, I am not aware this product is on the recall list due to this product fault. Thank you Aldi for hassle-free refund.  Show details

Warning product faulty – Purchased mine in October 2015. February 2016 the black plastic handle came away at the top without warning after boiling the full kettle. This had the potential of being a serious scalding incident. I am now aware this product is on the recall list due to this product fault & have returned my kettle for a refund.

LESS Noise – I have the Kambrook Profile KSK210 that lets everyone know the kettles on. The KUCHEF glass kettle purely appealed to me because of its (blue) LED lighting, 3 year warranty and price, yet it wasn’t until I got home I discovered it made LESS noise! Finally no more playing tea lady… When filled to its minimum 500ml, pouring requires an angle of… Read more

near 90 degrees. So if your wrists are arthritic it may be a bit awkward. Nonetheless water pours out gently, minimising hot water spillage.

Occasionally my flip top lid will stick and the interior will require de-scaling every few months pending on use. Here I've included a website suggesting tips on how to clean your electric kettle.

A design defect, otherwise a perfect product – Purchased this Kuchef glass kettle from Aldi for $35. Beautiful and good quality of glass. The only problem I have is the plastic rim at top is considerably thicker than the glass body below. This means every time I pour the hot water from the kettle, the edge holds quite a bit of water back. I need to tilt further to allow the water to pour… Read more

through, but then the hot water would rush out all of a sudden. I consider this quite unsafe for kids or elderly people who may not have sturdy hands and unable to stop the hot water overflowing from the container in time.

Otherwise this kettle has a beautiful LED indicator light, big switch and 3 year warranty. At $35 it is not a perfect bargain, but good enough.
