Defective – While squeezing the color dye on to my hair the plastic container cracked on both sides. The color went everywhere. A huge mess. I will never purchase this product again.
Bad – This is a good product if you want to try some tricky hair colouring at home. It gives multi shades, that is, 2 colours in 1 box. I have darker hair, so I could only use 2 of the colour types, and they worked okay. Overall, this is a good product to try if you remember to take thinner strands of hair for the highlight, dont take thick strands… Read more
because then you will look like a zebra with really broad stripes! This is a cheaper way to have multi-colours on your hair without going and spending a lot of money at the salon. Only problem is that, you really need a lot of patience and a good sense of what you are doing to get this right. It also helps if you can have someone else, like mum, sis, or a friend to help do the back of your head. I first bought these a couple of years ago when they first came out, and I have noticed that they are always expensive. Sometimes, Priceline has certain shades on sale at a really low price. Application is really tricky, I am not the best skilled for this, but admit that the second time I did it, I had better results. The first time I used it, I took strands of my hair too thickly and then the outcome had a horrible thicker strip of colour. You have to be able to coat only a thin strand of hair with the second colour so that it looks really nice and professional.
OK – As much as this is an easy to use products, it really does not produce good results. the highlights are orange and it looks really cheap and tacky. Maybe a good product for people with blonde hair, but definitely not for brunettes. Easy to use, fast results, cheaper than a hair dressers. The highlights come out orange, the colours look cheap. As far as hair dyes go it is expensive.
Good – i really like this product because its not too expensive and prodivded me with highlights that are still visible (after about 7 months!) It was my very first home-dye experience and although there were many steps, it was well worth it in the end. The steps are really well explained and the tools provided are very convenient, however the smell was… Read more
really bad after the second wash, and it was really messy to apply. This is a great product overall. Quite Cheap, Easy, provides long-lasting and full colour Messy to apply, takes a while for the colour to sink in, has a strong pungant smell (like most other hair dyes do)
Good – I like this product, it is easy to use and comes in some great colours. Definitely a cheaper option than going to a salon. Comes in some nice different colours and is easy to apply. Leaves your hair looking different to when you started. A much cheaper option than going to the hairdresser and does a great job. You can use it in the privacy of your… Read more
own home and it does not take long to apply. You can get ones that come with highlights as well which are relatively easy to apply. The regrowth can come around again fast. Can be a bit tricky when using the highlighter brush to get it even.
Good – the instructions are easy to follow, direct and to the point, provides great colour. i used it on my mothers hair and it was fantastic, she normaly goes to the salon to get the same thing done and they charge $200 why not save that money spend $28 get the same result. i would definaly use this product again and recomend it to others to try. price… Read more
it is cheaper then going to the salon for this, although it is still at the more expensive end of the home colour products. colouring your hair at home can be quite messy even when doing it in a bathroom.
