This is the worst product i’ve ever used. It did absolutely nothing. I left it on for the specified time, no results. Tried again for longer thinking it must need longer, no results. A complete waste of money. I don’t know how this product is on the market. Show details

Devastated – I have been dying my hair for more than 20yrs and never had any issues, but after using this product for less than a week, my hair line around my face dramatically receded by more than 1cm, coincidently in the exact spots I sprayed the dye. Show details

Terrible product wish I could have my money back – Terrible product . Didn’t cover the greys at all . I decided to try for the first time . I’m used to nice & easy root retouch which is 100 times better . I’ll never buy this product again Show details

Not a good product – It makes your hair feel gummy and sticky, you cant even comb through after using. Then I Looked at the ingredients. Would not Be surprised if some of the chemicals are carcinogenic. Who knows how safe it is? Show details

Bad product – Purchased this today on sale. Does not spray on the area you are trying to touch up, sprayed over a wide area made a mess of bathroom vanity. May be defective batch but will never by again. Going back to my regular brand. Show details

My hair loss "lifesaver" – I personally have found this product to be very good. As I am experiencing extreme stress related hair loss, I can no longer risk my regular salon root colouring. Therefore the greys have become a big worry for me & this product has been a lifesaver. Yes, it is initially abit messy to use (soap & water removes it easily off of skin, & a damp cloth… Read more

will spread it easily, & natural looking, on your hair if you make any mistakes) but that is down to the application of it. You soon master the art of using "short" bursts. It stays in my hair right up until I wash it. I wouldn't be without it! Hair shade wise, the blonde colour is too "yellowy". I use either light brown, or cool brown which gives a natural root growth look.

Easy to use and lasts through 2 or 3 washes – I use this in the auburn shade regularly to touch up roots between colourings. It works really well, blends in with several different shades, and lasts through 2 or 3 washes. (I wash every 2nd day) It does make the roots feel a bit dry to touch, but this is superficial as my hair reverts to its usual softness on the next wash. Show details

Fantastic Product – This product completely covers my greys & lasts for days, until I wash my hair. I don’t have to go to the salon as often because this covers my regrowth so well. I wouldn’t be without it! Show details

Horrible product – This made an absolute mess all over my bathroom and won’t come off the walls- I’ve contacted L’Oréal three times and they keep brushing me off. I bought 3 cans as they were on sale and all 3 were faulty. L’Oréal offered me a $20 good will voucher on my third email and that doesn’t even cover the cost of all three cans. Seems L’Oréal isn’t… Read more

interested in the consumer who actually uses the product, and can’t be bothered with genuine complaints about their product.

Leaves residue on roots, cannot wash out – I bought this from Woolworths to try and make my hair appear less thin. I sprayed it on clean, dry hair, and it worked pretty well. Until I went to wash it out. I washed my hair with my normal shampoo and afterward found that my roots were extremely greasy and had a residue throughout my roots where I sprayed this product. I thought maybe I… Read more

didn't wash the shampoo out properly (improbable, but giving the benefit of the doubt), so I didn't use the spray again, and for the second wash, I shampooed twice, scrubbed, and rinsed thoroughly. You could feel the residue already when the hair was wet.

It's been 3 washes so far since my initial first use and the residue is still there. My roots/scalp appear very greasy and is not appearing to lessen after each wash so far. The ONLY thing different in my hair routine was this spray. So far, I can't wash it out and it's awful. Would not recommend.

Does Not Wash Out! – DO NOT USE THIS…I have been a supporter for a few years but discovered it DOES NOT WASH OUT!!!! Eight “clarifying” shampoos and hair strands look like spotted snakes. If I scrape my nail down the hair shaft a chunk of dye is under my nail. SO upset! I better not ruin a $300 upcoming salon visit because my hair is speckled with this crap. I have SIX containers that I will never use! Show details

Never Again – Never again will I use this product. I grabbed a tin after colouring my my hair with a L'Oréal Permanent Colour. I got dressed for work, suit & tie job at a Hospital. As I came out of work, it was very lightly raining, I was in the rain for less than a minute. By the time I got under the awning, my shirt was ruined. The colour ran out immediately,… Read more

by the time I got home and got my shirt off, I threw it in the wash with a dye removal product, but my shirt was ruined. $90 down the drain for the shirt and $11 for the product that ruined my shirt. Just lucky I didn’t have to go back into the office.

It has saved me during Coronavirus and no hairdressers. Self esteem is important – Used on hair roots after each wash, mainly center part. I usually have colour refresh each 6 weeks which is now 12 weeks since last. Thankyou for your wonderful product Show details

Awful product – This product left a yellow dusty residue on my hair. My scalp went yellow and I inadvertently sprayed some on my forehead which also turned yellow. It left my hair feeling gritty and coarse. The claim that it blends with all blonde shades would be true if your blonde shade is banana . Horrible product. Don't waste your money. Show details

it won't last on your hair – the product gets sprayed to your hair but as soon as you accidentally touch your hair, you will notice all those colors transferred to your hand. so with a single touch its all removed. it won't get even to the stage to remain whole night on your hair to get to your pillow and make your pillow stained or colored. its terrible product for the price. i paid $16 at Price-line and its such a waste. Show details

Very Impressed – Started using after various other methods of root coverup between hair salon visits (including a cumbersome crayon stick) proved less than effective or attractive. Learned early on though, as it only comes off after shampooing, that I shouldn’t apply before visiting hairdresser as it appears to have an effect on how my “regrowth touch-up” takes to… Read more

my root area. You live and learn!!! Choosing the right colour is difficult as the choices are limited so it can be a real trial and error. It’s not cheap so I now stock up when on sale.

Spray On Hair Color – Unbelievable coverage for a spray in hair color. Remember though, lightly spray as it covers very easy and you need to hold the can at arms length otherwise, it will be way too dark. It is Blonde but a dark blonde. It is made in Light Blonde but unfortunately no-one in Australia seems to sell it. Washes out so the less you need to wash your… Read more

hair the better although, it will build up over time if you spray it to close but a clarifying shampoo will remove it or a little carb soda in your normal shampoo. It covers every bit as good as the hairdresser color.

My go to emergency touch-up – After trying other brands & styles of root touch ups this for me is by fair the best. I do think the colour range is lacking i personally use the Light Blonde but for a blonde it would be just too dark. At first it was`nt easy to apply & after some experimentation i now cover my hand with tissues & spray direct onto a large makeup brush then dab… Read more

onto my roots.

I find it blends into the roots well with the brush & theres no over spray which looks aweful. Once its dry it stays & stays then washes out easily.

Handy in a pinch – This is a handy little product if you find yourself caught short and you need to cover roots quickly. It's easy to use, and a little sure goes a long way, but it's easiest when you cover your skin with tissues against the area you wish to spray. It's not just as simple as one quick line along your part, especially if you wear your hair up. The… Read more

only downside is the hair then feels a bit icky to touch, and it will come on to your fingers if you say, scratch your head. Still it is good for between colours if you don't have the time to dye your roots completely, but nothing compares to freshly dyed and conditioned hair.
