Worst colour product I ever used in 20 years – Worst colour product I ever used. It damaged my hair like no other product before it. It should have never been put on the market. I am so disappointed I used this product Im opting for white hair with no damage. I will never use another L'Oréal hair product again

Made my hair black – Colour:darkest brown. I have been dying my hair every colour of the rainbow for 11years. This is the first dye I have ever had an allergic reaction too and it was not fun. I left the dye on my fairly thick waist medium length hair well under the recommended time, so maybe 20 minutes. The result came out black. I thought fine I'll wash it a few times with clarifying shampoo and deep condition it with oil. 8 washes, 5 days, later it was still black and patchy and far darker than my darkest brown hair extensions.

I used a weak hair dye remover (Scott Cornwall pink box) to get it to the colour I wanted. Lifted it from black to a very dark shade of brown which I really shouldn't have had to do.

Tips: This is the first dye I would actually seriously recommend carrying out a strand test.

If using this brand pick a colour that looks 2-3 shades lighter than what you want.

Purchased in for $17.

Does not cover greys – Don’t waste your money if you need to cover greys and the colour does not match the box. Extremely disappointed it did cover my grays as the box says it does. I’ll stick with what I know from now on.

Great natural looking brunette hair dye – This range has very good brunette tones which are deep with shine, and look very natural. This color (darkest brown) in particular is my favourite as it has shimmery dark tones. It also tends to look red in the sun which can be good or bad depending on whether you want those tones. Think of it as a shade away from being black, with warm undertones - while the next shade down is black with cool tones. (natural black). I have used both (on medium dark brown natural hair) but prefer the Darkest brown color. It also goes with any skin tone which is a plus. The conditioner is pretty average and I prefer to use my own but there is nothing wrong with it. The color itself lasts a very long time and still looks great. The application process is pretty easy (good for beginners) and I just left the color on for about 40 minutes. There is minimal damage to the hair as long as you look after it. Great range and probably my favorite of Loreal. However the smell may be abit strong for some and lingers after washing it for the first day.
