anything on it, they lag something bad. You write and it takes about 5seconds to keep up. Battery life, omg, if you need your child occupied while you do something, you get about 45minutes or less if they actually do something on it. I'm about to take them back, because no way can my children use them.

waste of money – absolute junk. i know it is a cheaper version but nothing works. my sons is 4 months old an now all it does is turn on and then back off again. best to put that money towards a more trusted brand and pay a little extra. all the apps crash, its very slow and the audio and pic quality is terrible.  Show details

Disappointing – I have Mid 786 laser. I cannot switch it on or off. When I switched it on it just shows the laser word revolving and I can't switch it off. Waste of money – This product is an absolute waste of money. Do not buy it. It is unreliable, slow, constantly crashes apps like settings. Only bought because it was a cheap replacement for my broken tablet. It also doesn't work with many basic things like gmail and, it can't even handle it's own settings.  Show details

Rubbish – The worst thing I have ever purchased. I would defiantly not recommend this. It may look cool, but it is unsupported, and only comes in a 2GB model. There are limited apps for it, the touch is terrible and it is SUPER slow. Do you think this is funny? This comment took me 2 hours to type because I was on a laser tablet.

Absolute Rubbish – It has a painfully slow system even to the point that it cannot cope with any speed with typing. It is absolute garbage as far as a tablet is concerned, not much good going for it. Your smart phone is a masterpiece by comparison. Do not buy. You will be disappointed.

resets over a few days just to test, config a wifi connection, add a google account and attempt to update a few apps etc.

Took it back to the local Bing Lee twice over a few days who thankfully the 2nd time just refunded it no probs.

Instead got the newer Laser MID-735 1.5 GHz CPU, 8GB Mem, Android 4.4) on sale for the same $49 price from Dick Smith which so far has performed very well, even slightly better than I expected really (for a cheap $49 7" Android tablet)!

What do you expect for a few Dollars – This Android is single core and not overly fast, but if you know its limits it is fine. games ("wheres my water" and similar run fine). The only problem I have had is battery issues, (around 1-1 1/2 hours using a dongle). But I am close to sorting that issue out by having a 12 volt to 5 volt converter in the car and splicing into the supplied power charger lead using a male and female mono plug (like the old earphones for those that have a little bit of silver on the scalp), and repeating the power connection in the car. The added advantage to this is it creates a break away point and protects the charge plug from damage.

For the money it is a worthwhile investment if you don't expect or need the latest and greatest, but something that will get the job done.

Has lasted 9 months – Has worked perfectly while plugged in constantly to PC to keep it charged. Except today about 9 months after getting it in a bundle it is stuck in the booting loop and won't boot. Now I have to take it back to Harvey. I bet they won't do anything about it. If I had to pay for it, I wouldn't have.

It Works Fine – I bought one of these online on special from Dick S's as I had a android tablet stolen in a break-in and needed something cheap, and disposable, to take overseas. Instructions say to fully charge it first time before use, I left it overnight, and that might be the problem some people are having. USB cable is handy. Haven't used the apps much although the maps are good. I bought a stylus to use with it and that works fine too. Taking it OS again in two weeks. Seems good enough for emailing and for news and info sites as well as storing itineraries and bookings, and reading documents off the USB. I was apprehensive when I bought such a cheap thing but I am happy with the result. Good value!

This is rubbish – My brother has a laser tablet and it's complete rubbish like he gets about 20 minutes before the battery runs out. Also it keeps changing stuff to different screens and moving stuff. I think that laser tablets are rubbish and I would never buy anything from laser! Any advice on what he should do? Budget works – I agree the battery life is poor. I get about an hour but all I want is to check email and bank account when overseas. It seems OK for that and cheaper than paying for an internet café by the hour several times. It's easy to use and screen resolution is good. Bought at Dick Smith for A$69- no complaints. sitting on the table and it was still moving and blurry. The device constantly kept freezing and that's not having any extra apps installed on it except what it came with. The sound was shocking, very low and to listen to youtube you had to use earphones. Disappointed – Ver 4.0.4. Bought it to use primarily for skype overseas. Installed skype but the inbuilt speakers do not work. Requires headphones. Haven't tried the skype video to see if it works either. Pretty slow tablet but most apps I've tried have worked okay. A couple of Apps would not install. Inexpensive and great for everything but skype. Speaker does not work with Skype. Bit slow in application.

Not bad – I bought this tablet today, I fully charged it before use and have been playing with it for hours.. so far battery drain is not that bad at all, wifi signal is not as great as my laptop but could be from the case. For beginners – A bulky machine, it does most things you want, it is slow at start up, slow running and slows down as you put more apps on. Power wise, charging takes awhile, but do get several hours use after charging. Doesn't hold charge for several days after being fully charged.
