no longer hold charge. The inside receiving chime is rechargeable but my preference would to have one that can be plugged into a wall power socket. I have enough devices to charge already.

I don’t believe this unit is better than the Orion Grid Connect Series 3 Smart Doorbell but I do like how the batteries can be changed in the Laser when they wear out. The Orion doorbells batteries are welded together so without a special battery welding tool they can’t be replaced. This gives the edge over Orion in my opinion.

All in all it’s a cheap smart video doorbell and it will do the job
