I agree with all the reviews below – I bought it from total tools and like everybody else the handle started leaking see vid. It has a massive design fault that you cannot wind the pressure cable back onto the roll without disconnecting it first and then you have to totally unwind it to get back to the nozzle. It really is a heap of junk. To the credit of the guys from Total Tools… Read more
they refunded me my money which I am very appreciative of an would shop there again but not for a Lavor pressure cleaner. I called the importer and the guy on the end of the phone thought it was funny that it had the design fault which he knew about and said well not many people use the roller anyway. What a joke
total garbage!!! – Do not buy a lavor pressure washer they are cheap Chinese made rubbish! Had the tank fall off twice and they will not repair under warranty! The exhaust has rusted and other items falling off machine! GARBAGE Show details
Lavor 19 Bad Design Flaw in Gun – Lavor 19. I use this washer around the house a few times a year. After 14 months the Gun started leaking. When I really complained, Lavorwash replaced it under warranty, then after another 1yr the Gun leaks again, this time I have to buy one, I have only used this machine approx 12hrs. Again after 10-12hrs use the that Gun fails, I buy one more,… Read more
all 3 guns were leaking water from the same join in the Valve that controls the water through the gun. This is poor manufacturing and they have obviously not improved the design from the original. Their claim is that these are not rubbish machines, Quote off their website for this model "This pressure cleaner is a very viable option for the DYI/Domestic user who is looking for something a bit better than your penny dreadful machines."
Well, I reckon this is a penny dreadful machine, should have bought a Karcher for $30 more. Lavorwash don't sell the valve separate, you have to buy the whole gun. Might be less annoying if the Valve could be bought separate for a few bucks, it's easy to pull out and replace.
My advice, do not buy a Lavor Water Pressure cleaner, I have nearly spent as much on replacing guns as I did on purchasing the machine.
Lavor Water Pressure's are bad news.
I'm off to Mitre10 to buy a Karcher!!
Bad product, bad service – This washer has given me grief after the first three months of very light and infrequent use, firsly the gun starts leaking, this takes in excess of three months to get a new gun , the thing is now over 6 months old and I have usedit twice ! Next issue, the handle on the main chassis breaks , Bursons provide me with a new improved part and yes… Read more
that actually solves the problem. Put the thing back into use again and it runs for several months reliably but I do notice a significant pressure loss. Then the gun starts leaking water again, I am told by Bursons that a new improved gun is available which will be supplied. Now they have changed their mind and say I have to pay for it. I only use this washer a maximum of once per month, it has been out of use waiting for parts for six months. Would never recommend or buy another one again.
From happy to disappointment – This unit was purchase after reading specs. I wanted value not a cheap unit. This was supplied as an all metal pump and it did deliver all that the manufacturer said. It was although for a very short time. Although out of warranty as it was a home use washer only the 1 of the plastic wands split down a seam from manufacture. The main problem was… Read more
the very short working life of the motor. The carbon brushes broke into pieces and destroyed the motor. These carbon brushes are not fitted with a cutout spring so they will stop the motor without damage. Good pressure and low noise Very short electric motor life span. expensive to repair.
