CRAP CRAP – Brought a laptop for remote learning after 3 zoom meetings lost all sound. Lenovo replaced the laptop within one week as they could not fix through the internet. Replacement laptop also did the same thing so this time we asked for a refund. Getting your money back is a joke after phone calls and emails and we are still waiting it has been over one month. The laptop was returned so they have the machine and our money we have nothing. Still waiting refund promised on the 3rd November 2020. The biggest problem is the company is off shore. We thought Lenovo was a good brand but not at all. Went back to the company we can trust.

No Clinic Direct Australia should be Lenovo Direct Australia.

Exceptional value – I have a couple of older tablets and a high end Mac desktop at home, but wanted something for travel and to give training presentations. This very inexpensive device covers all those bases. Very quick with 4GB RAM, plenty of storage (64GB), plus I've added another 128GB SD card for movies. It doesn't do any heavy processing but happily plays HD videos all day on one charge without ever feeling sluggish. Has now become the first device I pick up for web/email etc. Extremely happy with this purchase.

great cheap laptop with great battery life – It retails around $400 (you can pick it up cheaper in special offers) and runs Chrome OS. This has come on leaps and bounds and they have added a lot of extra capabilities over the years. You can now install Android apps directly onto it and if you are very technically minded, you can install Linux and associated apps which I did and it worked fairly well. the screen isn't the best but its good enough to do wordprocessing, surfing etc...

Capable laptop and can't be beaten on price – I was skeptical when I bought the Chromebook but hopeful. I'm using it as a teacher and it's been fantastic. It's not a full laptop - that's the thing people need to understand - it's a Chromebook. Different. If you want high performing gaming then don't buy this. If you want complex Windows-based programs don't buy this. If you want the basics it's perfect. It works best when online and connected to google drive and other web-based cloud services like One Drive. For teaching, it's been fantastic. It runs all the apps I need as well as Microsoft Office. If it works in a Chrome browser on your PC now it'll work on the Chromebook. Offline capabilities exist too. Plugs into a projector via USB C and connects to bluetooth speakers. A few reviews say the speakers are poor - this is accurate. Plenty of criticism of the keyboard but the only thing I can say is that I'd prefer it to be backlit - other than that it's fine. Perfect PC for anyone who wants one for basic functions or for a student. Recommended. Small, light, the battery lasts all day and the price is fantastic. This is the future of PCs for me - no more expensive and/or bulky windows laptops with internal storage. Everything in the cloud. And if that worries you then you can stick a micro SD card in it and download everything. And for those who have issues with the large black bezels around the outside of the screen - bah, who cares, you got a cheap laptop and they don't get in the way at all. Looks fine.
