Budget beast from Lenovo – I was searching for a Laptop in the market with the following specs : Intel core i5 processor , 8GB ram , 1 TB HDD , 2GB Dedicated Graphics Searched many laptops both online and offline. But then this laptop caught my eye and the specs fulfilled all my requirements and I was blown away by the price it was retailing for. Buy it before stocks run out . Now coming to the performance and looks :

1. The laptop is well build but is a little on the heavier side . Comes in only black colour with glossy finish at the back.

2. Typing on the keyboard is fine but the trackpad is not smooth enough .Buy a mouse instead.

3. Display quality is average and is a 720p HD panel .

4. Processing power is top notch with 5th gen i5 processor clocked at 2.2 Ghz with turbo boost upto 2.7 Ghz.

5. 8 GB ram is more than enough for day to day tasks and light to mid - range gaming

6. Come equipped with AMD Radeon R5 M330 2GB graphics card which can easily handle games at low to medium settings . Video Editing is also smooth and considering the price you can hardly complain.

7. Battery life is very good on the device . Can easily give more than 4 hrs battery backup .

So in a nutshell this Laptop is a budget beast by Lenovo and also kudos to flipkart for speedy delivery. Does not come with a laptop bag so you have to buy that separately.

Buy this before the stocks last . I bet you will not find a better deal than this .Cheers.

Worhtless, waiste of $$$$ – I have no idea where this review came from....bought a laptop which went to worthless very quick. 1st the keyboard, then the usb ports, cd player, then the bluetooth. I would advise everyone to stay far away from Lenovo, no matter what the price, it's not worth it. If you bought it in the last 6 months, just wait or better yet get rid of it.

Best Budget Laptop Available – Lenovo g50-80 is a basic budget laptop. My experience is slightly above average. I have core i5 500gb hdd and 4 gigs of ram. The boot time and startup are low. but i had issues when upgrading it to windows 10 - windows 10 update is not recommended though. If it comes with windows 8.1 don't update it to windows 10 as there are some lags and problems associated. Delete factory bloatware asap you get the book as they consume good amount of ram and increase startup time.

Anyways it is a good budget laptop which is good for basic use like browsing, and office.
