Lenovo IdeaPad 300

Didn't last 5 months Warranty worthless – Five months after purchasing my new Lenovo Ideapad the screen cracked when opening it up. This was not caused by dropping, knocking etc. I returned the item to Officeworks where it was purchased believing that it was a warranty claim. Officeworks also confirmed that apart from the cracked screen they could see no evidence of damage. However, Lenovo refused to accept the claim and charged me approximately 60% of the new value to have it fixed. New $797, Repair $495. Reluctantly I agreed to have it fixed and had to pay for the repair upfront. At the time I was told the repair could take up to 4 weeks. Three months later it was only when I emailed Lenovo that it was my intention to take the matter to the Civil Adminstrative Tribunal for full compensation that amazingly 3 days later Officerworks called to say the laptop had been repaired and was ready for pick up. I will never purchase another Lenovo. Their product is second rate and their customer service doesn't exist.
Purchased in at Officeworks Noosaville for $797.
AVOID LENOVO at all cost – Bought two lenovos two years ago,and both of them are trash, first the speakers broke down, then the hinge then the power socket. PIECE OF CHINESE CRAP. NEVER be fooled with the discounted price, it's a trap.NEVER be fooled with the discounted price, it's a trap.NEVER be fooled with the discounted price, it's a trap.

Just not a good product given its specificastion – It has never performed well from the first day. Before i even loaded my own software apps it was slow to start up and with basically just MS Office on board it is a dog. 9 Months after purchase it died and needed a new mother board - the service team were hopeless and too k ages to fix and return the laptop to the vendor I purchased it from. I will never buy anything from Lenovo regardless of price or reviews.

Not to bad – My dad bought this laptop about 18 months ago he has had to replace hard drive and also the dvd drive as well it freezes up a lot as well but it is still an ok laptop I wouldn't recommend it as it has cost a far bit for the repairs its a bit like I said about the ideal pad 110 my father and I would never buy another Lenovo laptop again. But everyone has there on opinion.

Good for people with limited budget – Brought this laptop in June last year and it's still functioning well. What I like about this laptop is the price for about $500, I got a laptop with DVD player, Intel i3-6100U CPU and 4gb ram. That meets more than my needs as a student and can handle basic office work. The downsides are, the keyboard is not very comfortable, and it may look good but kind of heavy for carrying between home and school/office.
