Don't touch with a barge pole – If you want to buy a decent reliable laptop, steer absolutely clear of Lenovo, it's absolutely crap. Over the years I have bought and used many including Toshiba, Dell, Asus, Acer (all with variable success and durability but I would rank the worst of these miles ahead of Lenovo rubbish. The battery went cactus before 2 years were up and even though it's 100% charged it will have a fit and pretend it's on 0% charge until it feels better by that time you have wasted valuable time and lost unsaved work. Finally the most damning thing for Lenovo, if you google this problem it seems to be a fairly widespread problem but there isn't one bit of help for poor aggrieved buyers. For me if I live to 100 I will not touch this rubbish.

Do not buy Lenovo Ideapad flex – Do not buy this. I bought this laptop just over a year ago and right hinge suddenly break when opening and screen also cracked because of this. Then I had a look in the internet and noted that lot of other users had the exactly similar damage. Seems like these hinge very weak.

Purchased in at Harvey Norman for $909.

Battery issues – This product, Lenovo as a brand and The Good Guys as a seller have been a nightmare to deal with. The product was faulty and had battery issues since day one. I brought it back to The Good Guys for them to give me a solution as the laptop was not even 3 months old when I decided to bring it, I they started the formal process to send it to Lenovo in Sydney. That took a month and Lenovo found a couple of issues with the laptop that apparently repaired like changing the mother board and something else. 24hrs later I was back again to The Good Guys with the laptop having the same battery issues. Finally Lenovo approved the refund of the laptop and the whole process took over 6 weeks. Really unhappy with the way everything happened.
