Lenovo Legion R45w-30
VerifiedMPN: R45w-301 review
Dead on arrival – Update2: Lenovo will not allow negative reviews on their website. What a joke of a company. Update1: what a hassle to return this damn thing. So, you need to save all the original packaging (which is a box that is about 1.5m long) and re-pack it for the courier to pick up. After about a dozen emails they send you labels you need to print and attach to the carton, then set aside an entire day to wait around for them to show up. What a waste of time. I’ve no idea what I’d do if I had crushed and recycled the box right away, or couldn’t sit at home waiting all day for a courier to show up.
I’ve had to return it as it doesn’t work. Tried multiple computers and driver updates. - The quick start instructions are terrible - words would be nice - Stand is terrible - it means that the monitor sits a good 15cm from the wall, taking up valuable desk real estate. It also doesn’t go high enough so that a lenovo laptop can sit under it. I am going to buy a 3rd party desk bracket and throw out the useless stand. - It’s not plug and play, even with Lenovo laptop. I still haven’t been able to get it to connect properly. Update- now given up and returning for a refund. - The buttons are all on the back and don’t seem to work properly. You have to guess which one you are pressing. The quick start guide doesn’t even show them. - The monitor in the quick start guide is a different model to the one shipped which makes the non verbal instructions even more difficult to understand - what am I meant to do with the cable lock?
Purchased in at Lenovo for $900.
