Can’t even run windows. Waste of money – I bought this thinking it would be a perfect portable machine but it has so little ram that it can’t even run windows. I have spoken with Lenovo associates who won’t help with the issue saying I should just connect an external hard drive but that doesn’t fix the issue as the computer itself needs more ram to run security and system updates than what is available and there is no option of upgrading. Makes me furious

Terrible – After 3 months it started overheating and shutdowning after 1 hour’s use, even less if it was plugged in and simultaneously charging. Consequently I can only use it for brief periods to do basic word processing and surfing the net (ie no streaming). I bought it because it was light and compact but reliability and quality are much more important to me.  Show details

Find someone you hate and give them $400 instead – My retiree mother bought this from Good guys a few months back. She realised straight away it was very slow and thought she would ask her son if she was using it right. A few months later she asks me and I realise there is actually not enough memory to even store the windows 10 operating system. All the updates wont even load even though there is… Read more

nothing on this laptop at all.

ACCC should get onto this scam, it is exactly the same as labelling bricks laptops and selling them to pensioners

does exactly what it should – I bought it from Officeworks Adelaide. $377 I wanted a small convenient laptop for meetings and web browsing use away from home. I mainly use Office type programs. I don't play games. It's also good for checking emails and watching TV with the little thing on my lap! I used the Mcafee antivirus that came with it. It does all it should. The… Read more

memory is too small to use it for storing much but as I have a "main" computer that doesn't matter.

Quite happy.

Can be better, e.g. more customisation of buttons and processor but otherwise good – Went to JB Hifi and at the time thought the price was cheaper than the advertised $549 price, as the website had a better deal but upon arriving at the store, we were pushed back which was it. Told that if we purchased other things; e.g. Microsoft Office 365 and a couple of other things, they could provide a discount. Not much, other than… Read more

that though despite the quad core processor going through the initial steps in updates and downloading... the process was slow.

I think the touch screen is a very good option, it acts as a 2 in 1, so laptop and tablet though missing a stylus pen as well.

Since the very first time of running the updates for Microsoft Windows 10, the backspace key... I didn't like it, it needs to be customised and changed accordingly. Why? Well when you type something into a web browser for instance, for some strange and stupid reason, if you make a mistake and you press the backspace button, instead of what it should be doing by correcting your typo... instead it refreshes the browser page and that has annoyed me greatly.
