You cannot turn brightness down, you cannot turn off for non work days. Yes simple but missing the above essential functions. I wasn't looking for something fancy so for 20 bucks not bad just unfortunate that it's missing those above functions Show details
Radio has plenty of functions. Two alarms which can be set to radio or loud buzzer. Main problem is what others have found - the display is far too bright. Okay for daylight hours but terrible, if you want to sleep, of a nighttime. I had to put a "sunshade" over the display to tone down the brightness. Definitely needs to able to turn the brightness down. Show details
The radio works fine when plugged into mains power. However, I purchased it because it can be used with batteries. It can't. It is totally useless as an emergency radio. I had brand new batteries and even though the instructions say the screen will be dark but the radio will work. It doesn't. DO NOT BUY AS AN EMERGENCY RADIO. Show details
A disappointing purchase – I thought I had found the perfect answer to replace my wonderful but ageing Sanyo clock/radio. WRONG! Such a disappointment. 1. The luminous face is in great need of a dimmer switch. It lit up the whole bedroom with a weird green light, made worse by the constant flashing of the colon between the time numbers. Very annoying and quite… Read more
disturbing.
2. I am puzzled by the ON/OFF switch doing two jobs .... Switch on, ok. Switch off - it won't, instead it looks for a pre-set station. Switch off again, it then looks for the next station. I just want to Switch the radio Off! In desperation after holding the button I had to switch off at the power on the wall behind the cabinet. Not easy during the night!!!! Even though the room is glowing green!! Is this dual operation a 'thing' now? ... it's not the first time I have come across it on other brands of radios and I am confused as to the reason if there is one.
3. Sound is very ' scratchy' and seems to pick up interference on the stations.
4. Clock loses time.
5. I rang Customer Service and their thought was the item could be faulty? My thought was that it was the dud that as the saying goes, was made on a Monday! I cannot recommend the clock/radio and will be returning it to The Good Guys where I bought it and hopefully get my money back.
I would appreciate your acknowledgement please, Kind regards and Happy New Year to you all,

It has always gained time – The product is actually a Lennoxx Projector Clock Radio, CR72. Purchased 26 December 2023 from Harris Scarfe, West Lakes SA. The clock does NOT keep accurate time as it continues to gain time without any interference from me.
Excellent clock radio – Excellent little clock radio, easy to pack when travelling for work, the only minus would be the display is to bright and would have loved a dimmer switch, but overall is a brilliant little clock... Show details
Same functions as my previous model but half the size – My previous Lenoxx AM/FM Clock Radio with Dual Alarm and battery backup was twice the size of my new unit. My new Model CR21 is so small and compact. It has AM/FM Radio, a Dual Alarm, and twenty pre-set FM Radio Stations or Buzzer mode alarm. The battery back-up allows extra confidence when overnight power blackouts occur, as the clock maintains correct time throughout. Performance is excellent.
