We are so disappointed. We had an expensive enamel free standing bath. It went under in a cyclone flood and we had to put a new bath in. We chose the Le Vivi free standing because we could still have the sensible and safe end of bath fawcett. Additionally we could put body wash etc against the wall. What we didn’t expect was the uncomfortable squared off end that we can’t lie back on. Then we found that it is dreadful to get in and out off. Le Vivi needs to modify this model. We’ve bought many Le Vivi products but this is the worst. Please give us a replacement one!

Follow-up  · 20 months after installation comments. No insulation issues although the design would be better with a slightly lower plughole drainage as water takes a while to drain. The wall behind has extra dwangs (nogs) so a security rail could be fitted. This is always used by both children and adults as the bath is so high. The bath is exterior from floor 53cm and interior 43cm approximately. The surface is great, smooth and easy to clean with non abrasive cleaners. The surface of a loved cast iron claw foot bath I had was unsuccessfully resurfaced twice. The wall upstand is functional for products. Modern bathrooms never have enough places to put items. However, I’m leaving the old and lower baths in my rentals as they are comfortable to lie in with the rounded back and they are lower to climb out of.
