Average – Bought recently to work from home and it does the job but not as good as dell compare to my other monitor. Quality is average and be mindful of HDMI outlet Show details
Poor contrast – Bought this monitor to work from home but unfortunately reading text on it is terrible. The black colour on this screen just isn't black enough. It gives poor contrast and poor definition for text. Have tried all the settings with no luck. Checked it with both my work and personal laptops in case it was a driver issue. Think it is just a poor monitor. Will return. Show details

Terrible quality – Purchased from Kogan Online: - image is not clear or chrisp - changed the settings for an hour to try and make it bearable - tried on multiple devices to check HDMI output quality and it is the monitor - bad purchase decision from Kogan. Show details

Terrible Picture Viewing Angle – We bought this monitor with high hopes, but it turned out reading on this Monitor was extremely stressful on the eyes. Also, the viewing angle reminds me of old LCD monitors built in the 90's, because if you view off the side even a little, the picture quality drastically is reduced. Its as though there is a silver haze over the screen. I… Read more
thought it was only this monitor in particular, but with some research I have found that many people comment on this. If you put this beside another monitor, even my old LG from 2006, the difference is day and night. We tried all settings and I am a computer technician so I have worked with many monitors in the past. The only thing I can think is that LG shipped out the cheapest screen possible. It says it's build in 2019, but the quality is more akin to monitors of the late 90's. It is terrible and I am a big LG fan. I hope this is not what we can expect from LG in the future.
Good Monitor – Excellent value. Colours and contrast are good. This is the best monitor I've owned to date. Using it as office monitor, so cannot comment on suitability for gaming. Only complaint is that the base of the stand protrudes a bit too far into the desk area, front ways. I managed to modify the fitting to reverse it, but it required cutting a bit of the plastic out of the column. Otherwise, very happy. Would recommend.
Pretty good for the price – Bought this monitor for a replacement as our previous one would not turn on. We paid $148 from Harvey Norman's. Initial setting up wasn't bad. We had to get one that had HDMI/VGA settings as we swap over from Mac to Windows every now and again. Switching from one to the other is a bit more involved than our previous model. Will have to get… Read more
used to the little toggle button but I'm sure will become easier with more use. The picture quality is good after getting into the settings and changing the brightness/contrast etc. Text is lovely and clear.
Reading text a bad experience – I bought this monitor a few weeks back from Computer Alliance to replace my ancient heavy as hell old HP 14 inch monitor (probably at least 15 years old). First sight the LG was ns nice, 22 inches, lightweight, HDMI port as well as VGA, and a nice bright screen. Well, I'm afraid it didn't last. Trying to read black and white text on it was… Read more
painful. Text tended to be light and screen shiny (seems almost reflective), making reading a bad experience. Got out the old HP again, displayed exactly the same text on it and difference was dramatic. The HP has a matte non-shiny surface so the dark text contrasts nicely. I tired to adjust the LG settings but none of the options made any real difference. This monitor may be OK for movies or gaming - can't say as I don't use it for that - but for reading text it is terrible - in fact unusable. It's now stored in my garage and I'm still with my ancient HP monitor. Oh, and the HP is height and tilt adjustable, and the LG only tilts; you can't adjust the height. All in all a very bad buy.
LG monitor Bad to view – Bought this one 4 days ago, Looking straight on at the screen the picture is great, however as soon as you look at it even slightly from either side or tilted down or up the picture will be either too dark or too light to make out anything. It is terrible, like the very early led monitors, in fact worse. I have it packed up to return. I do like… Read more
the external power supply and the tilt stand which was my reason to purchase it, as my favorite brand Samsung does not have a tilt stand but never expected a monitor to be so terrible to view by today's standards.
