LG 567L Side by Side GR-B197NIS (Titanium)

Owned for 16 years and worked perfectly – I’ve owned this fridge for 16 years. Never missed a beat. It’s big, easy to clean and I’ve moved house 4 times since I brought it. I have one problem now though. There is a bad smell coming from the back of it. Like a sour milk smell. I assume it’s all our fault. Spilt milk and such, but I can’t find a drip tray to clean it out. Never once had this problem in the 16 years I’ve owned it, until now. Show details ·  1

Excellent fridge/freezer – I’ve had this fridge since 2006 (15 years) & have never had any sort of problems. Worked flawlessly the whole time. Has been relocated once and did not cause issues. Now want a fridge with plumbed in water and ice as new house has provisions, but don’t want to buy until this one breaks down. Think I’ll be waiting a while Show reply

Rusted out under water dispenser and – All of the plastic drawers and inserts have broken - it is like it is a disposable appliance that starts decomposing in a few years. Looks good for a while and then starts looking really shabby. Big dissapointment especially as the plastic drawers cannot be replaced. Made a kitchen to fit this fridge and now no other unit can fit in the space - gutted!

Fantastic Fridge/Freezer Combo – No rust - not even after being in storage for 12 months. Cleaned up like new. But as previously noted this model does not have a water dipenser. Great storage areas. Works like dream. Easy to clean - for those with a messy family. Easy to maintain-inside and out.

Bad – steer clear of this model of fridge/freezer; door rusted out under ice/water dispenser, crisp dispenser draws freeze your fruit/veg in the fridge section Frost free Product: GRL197NIS the next model up - is shocking see review posted

Good – looks great. works wonderfully..oh and to the guy with the ice/ water dispenser rusting.... this fridge doesn't have one!!!!! love it. Works like a Swiss clock. Never misses a beat except for power outages which can't be helped. I love the tempered class shelving as I have dogs and defrost chickens and turkey necks in the fridge and if I have split the bag it doesn't run onto another shelf.

Good – Very happy with this purchase. Looks great in the kitchen, has plenty of space for a young family and is super quiet when running. Doors open easily, handles feel secure and it swings smoothly with the door compartments securely holding items in, but still provides enough space for two 3lt drink bottles plus. such as the deli drawer which I find very convenient, likewise with the flip-over ice cube trays in the freezer. The finish is easy to clean and doesn't retain fingerprints. Had this product for approximately 2 years and overall, highly recommend. Stylish, great layout and quiet running.
